No it never would for the simple reason that it's barely surviving now and it caters to both men and women with a bigger emphasis on men.

Yes women love sex but they don't actually need porn to get off. I'd even say that porn does little to stimulate them or help them achieve an orgasm. Part of the reason is that technology is significantly more generous when it comes to the ability to both stimulate and induce an orgasm in a woman. Ever heard of the pocket rocket?

It would survive, but it would look very different.

If women were a viable target consumer market for porn, it would certainly have been done by now. There would be a much greater emphasis on romance, not gonzo.
So I'm afraid that the question puts the cart before the horse. It's like asking, "What if bath oil beads were marketed for men?"
The only viable market that porn can offer to women is that of employment.

True, men seem to enjoy visual stimulation more than many women. But a lot of women I've known enjoy satisfying their curiosity with porn. And notice my answer said "many".... not all.
Unless, of course, they've been trained to find it "disgusting." But usually it's just training and expectations that cause that reaction. Human curiosity is powerful in both sexes, I believe.

I think it would survive but the emphasis would be different. It would require scripts and dialogues and good looking men who could actually act and speak and spend more time doing so than doing actual sex.
I have to admit, though, marketing porn to women MUST be a huge challenge. I sat my wife down with my VR headset and played a POV VR video created for women for her. Her response? That's the angle I see sex from all the time. I want to see something different! So....she wants non-POV hetero VR porn created for women? WTF? ...for me, POV VR porn is pretty much the bomb.
Oh, one last thing. If you go look at Chaturbate, there are a LOT of web cam dudes there. So somebody must be watching..... (I haven't looked to see if it is men or women, though...)
