Vendo, the initial credit card checker, twice refused my credit card for a month's subscription but no reason given. When they transferred me to an alternative the only option available was for 3 day's membership renewing at some ridiculous monthly amount. Clearly they do NOT want some of my money - they want ALL of it. Fat chance.

Loki (0) DDF has no control over whether you card was refused or not. They don't handle billing. In this case Vendo did, on behalf of DDF. If your card was refused twice, it was likely your bank not allowing the purchase, not the billing agent (Vendo).

Is this your first purchase with Vendo? Did you call the card issuer to find out why your card was declined? Sometimes banks will not authorize purchases to protect consumers, even though it is a valid purchase. Best to contact the card issuer and find out why the card was declined. They can tell you whether or not they declined the purchase, or whether it was the billing agent. If the bank declined it, you simply tell them you authorize a purchase to Vendo and they should let it through.
