Current Member for over 6 months (at the time of review).
|
Pros: |
-First month PU discounted price of $14.95. Recurs at at $29.95/month.
-Site is part of the Fame Digital network. You get access to over 20 sites, including the main sites of:
Devils Film
Peter North
Rocco Siffredi
Silvia Saint
Silverstone DVD
Any one of the sites listed above is worth the membership price. Plus you also get access to a boatload of additional hardcore porn at the other niche sites.
-The same login details (username and password) work for each of the sites you have access to.
-Login and member pages are https.
-There are trailers for the videos. So you can get a preview of the video instead of watching the entire video.
-There is 24/7 support on live chat, which is the best customer support service I've ever encountered.
Fast response, helpful agents who know how the site/network works. |
Cons: |
-The main con is they re-designed the site and network a few years back.
The re-design made the site and network harder to use, slower to navigate.
See the bottom line section for more details on the re-design flaws.
-Pre-checked cross sale on join page. But this is standard for most porn sites.
-Billing agent is FameHelp. I prefer CCBill or Epoch, which are reliable and easy to deal with. However, I've used FameHelp a number of times in the past, and never had a problem with them. |
Bottom Line: |
Site stats:
Movies: 234
DVD: 58
Pornstars: 347
Those stats are for the Lesbian Factor site.
But with network access, you have thousands of videos, thousands of porn stars, thousands of pictures.
The re-design for the site/network made using the content much harder.
They eliminated the old drop-down menu that allowed you to easily switch between sites.
The old drop-down menu also made it easy to know what sites you had access to.
The contents of each site are no longer separated for each site, but you get videos from other sites shown on the content page for each site
So it's more difficult to explore what the contents of a site include (because you have random thumbnails from other network sites thrown in on each page).
If you are at this site, Lesbian Factor, the easiest way to switch to another site in the network is to open a new web page, and log in to the new site from there. Instead of simply hitting a drop-down menu to switch, which was the older design.
Not all changes were bad.
The old sites had model lists that often did not have a thumbnail for the model.
And finding her videos at the site was problematic.
The new model lists have photos for all the models I checked.
And the newer model page shows her videos at that site (not for the entire network).
Which makes it harder to find the model's content--since you have to search each site to see if she is present.
-This is a pro and a con: You get access to so much hardcore porn, that it's difficult to pore through all the content, to find what appeals to you. So you need energy and determination to slog through the material. But there are videos that can blow you away, the first time you see them. The raw energy and sex and physicality are impressive. Especially in some of the older scenes. You don't get the glamcore treatment, this is raw, hardcore sex. So it doesn't have the higher definition of current videos, expensive sets, or elaborate makeup for the models, but some of the older videos are gems.
I should mention that the site and network has an outstanding live chat support service.
The live chat support is 24/7. One of the best live chat services I've ever used.
The techs are quick to answer a chat, and are courteous and knowledgeable about using the site and network.
When I last joined, I had a few issues about the site re-design, and the live chat line was fast to respond, and answered my question easily. Much faster than waiting for an email response, and better than calling on the phone, since, for me, it's easier to read a text message on my computer than talking on the phone with no written record to refer to.
Many of the older scenes have a gonzo feel.
You can easily find some jiggering of the image (the camera is not held steady), a lack of focus (camera guy does not frame each shot very well) poor lighting, and other mistakes that take away from watching a porn scene.
The newer videos, in addition to higher definition, have better quality tech factors: focus, slightly better lighting, etc.
But don't expect the videos will match the glamcore sites like X-Art, Blacked, or Tushy in quality (definition, lighting, making the models glamourous, sound control, focus).
The Fame videos are basically gonzo hardcore sex.
Although there is a huge amount of content available in the network, because of navigation issues, it's hard to find the gems that you will appreciate.
I wish that they would go back to the old design, since it was much simpler, cleaner, easier to use.
But it's been around 4 years since they went to the new design, so that won't happen.
I'm giving the site and network a score of 80.
That's generous, because the network re-design really fucked up the value of the site and network, making it harder to find the content, to explore the content, to switch between sites, to know what specific sites you have access to, to find the content of a model.
But there are some videos that are really good, if you can find them. |
