-Live chat support is 24\7. Fast to respond, with knowledgeable staff. When I first joined, I could not log in. Live chat quickly solved the problem: The login details from a previous membership were interferring with my current login details, and the login page did not show this clearly. Support suggested clearing cache and cookies, and that solved the problem.
-Each video has a trailer, to give you quick-view of the video.

The streaming choices are: 160p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 540p, 720p, 1080p.
The download choices are the same: 160p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 540p, 720p, 1080p.
When I watch a video on a 27" monitor, at 540p, the quality of the video is surprisingly good: the video has excellent lighting, professional focus, good sound control.
There is no need to go to a higher definition for streaming or downloading.
Maybe on a larger monitor there might be a difference: but 540p is a fine choice for downloading or streaming on a 27" monitor (or smaller).

The logic for the gateway system, I believe, it that it makes it easier to manage and update the gateway, instead of having to update each of the 20 plus sites separately.
But the gateway system makes exploring each separate site harder.
-The search function could be improved: If you search for a model's name, it returns any matches that contain either the first part of the model's name, or the last part of the model's name. So you have to filter the search results.
However, the search covers the entire network, instead of a single, specific site you are logged in to: which makes it easier to use, instead of having to do a search for each individual site.
Also, a useful feature on the search results: when you click on the thumbnail of the model's video, you open the video: you don't have to manually transfer to the the specific site the content is listed under: for example, the video, Deep Throat This #13, starring Hannah Harper, a Peter North video, opens in the gateway site: You don't have to transfer to the Peter North pseudo-site, to open or play the video.

The main negative is that the models are not actors: the plots are silly or stupid, and the dialogue is worthless: this is just show the girl, have her give a blow job, then fuck the girl. Not a lot of thought or lead-up to the sex, which is plain-vanilla fucking.
BOTTOM LINE(START OF):
The site theme is the popular fake incest, where step family members have sex. Since they are not related by blood, but by marriage or adoption, it's not really incest, but fake incest. This is supposed to add an extra thrill of the forbidden to the sex. But the forbidden element seems tame, to me, since it's not incest, but fake incest. I guess that fake incest has fewer legal issues than a real incest porno (except that in a "real incest porno", the actors would not be related by blood, but only playing they were related by blood).

I believe this is wrong, and does not represent the site and network structure that is current.
The site (Out of the Family) and Devils Film are part of 20 plus sites that are members of a gateway site, that gives access to the videos and photo sets of what used to be 20 plus sites.
But the sites no longer exist as separate sites: instead, you have a gateway site, that you log in to.
And that gateway, gives you access to the videos and photo sets at each of what used to be 20+ separate sites.
But you can't enter any of the separate sites completely: you remain in the gateway site, which, when you select one of the sites, gives you content pages of the videos and photo sets that are categorized as being in that site.
So Out of the Family is not a clone site: it is, instead, one of the sites you access through the gateway site, where each individual site no longer exists as a separate site on a server, but instead is a software program that allows you access to the videos and photo sets that are categorized as different sites.
That's my interpretation: The videos and photo sets are not linked by the Devils Film site into a clone site, where you have the same videos and photo sets.
Instead, you have a completely different listing of videos and photo sets that fall under the Out of my Family site, which is separate from the listing of videos and photo sets that fall under the Devils Film site.
You get access to over 20 sites in the Fame Digital network.

Access to any one of the top sites would justify the membership price of $14.95 for the first month.
If you are new to porn, or haven't joined this site in years, then, assuming you are a fan of hardcore porn, the membership is more than worth the price.
However, if your tastes are more sophisticated, then you might enjoy the heartcore style of porn offered at competing sites like X-Art, Blacked, Tushy or Vixen: Those sites offer models in their late teens and early twenties who are chosen for their physical beauty: The models are presented to be very attractive, with make-up, costumes, lighting, sets done professionally, and with a small storyline and better acting that makes the video like a well-done love scene, with sex.
The membership price is higher, the content is less, but it is comparing highest quality to middle-grade porn.
I would not consider Out of the Family to be low-grade porn, since the videos and photo sets are quite good in production values, even if the plot is stupid.
Giving the site a score of 85, because the site is a worthwhile join, and the network access makes the value even better.
I just wish they returned to the old network structure, since the navigation was faster and easier, but since it's been several years now, that seems unlikely to happen. |
