No but technically speaking you are not legally allowed to trade/share digital copies of anything. The law is flexible on hard copies like dvd and Bluray but it isn't on downloaded material.

I'm not a lawyer, but I always assumed it was illegal to trade downloaded videos of copyrighted material.
I don't know how often that law is enforced.
Actually, I think it's illegal to photocopy copyrighted books, but most students do it all the time.
Again, I don't know how often that law is enforced.
Probably not often, but just like jaywalking, it's against the law.
And of course, when you rent a DVD of a movie, there is an FBI warning that copying the DVD is illegal, with a possible $250,000 fine if you are caught.
Politicians and businessmen can steal millions of dollars, or hundreds of millions of dollars, and pay less fines than $250,000 if they are caught.
But copy a DVD of a movie, and they can fine you $250,000, plus prison time, I think.
Got to admire the law: punish the weak with a sledgehammer, but punish a politician or businessman with a slap on the wrist for stealing millions.

Never done it and never will. For one thing I don't have anyone to trade with. That's just a technicality of course, but I support paying for porn since it's the best way to ensure more keeps being made.
