Current Member for less than 1 month (at the time of review).

Pros: |
-PU has a discounted price of $9.99 for the first month, recurring at $19.99/mo.
-I didn't see a cross-sale on the join page.
That would be a pro. Unless I was sloppy, and did not see a cross-sale on the join page.
On the confirmation email, there was no mention that I joined a cross-sale.
So I will have to check my credit card for the next month, to see if I was charged for a cross sale joi
-Site is part of the MetArt network. For most joins, you join each site separately. However, there is a special deal where you get a discounted price if you join 10 sites MetArt runs for about $50/month, recurring monthly. I used to see that advertised, but it's been a while since I've seen it recently.
-Many or most of the models are regulars on the MetArt network. This means the standard level of attractiveness of the models is good to excellent.
-As part of the MetArt network, the site features the high level of technical features standard for the MetArt network:
Unlimited downloads. |
Cons: |
PROS(CONTINUED):
Unlimited streaming of videos.
For videos:
You can choose the streaming definition: 270p, 360p, 720p, 1080p.
You can choose the file download definition: 270p, 360p, 720p, 1080p.
For photosets:
-You have your choice of low, medium or high for an online slideshow.
-You have the same choices for downloading a file of the photoset in low, medium or high definition.
-Customer service is excellent: fast to respond, usually helpful with password problems, billing, whatever.
CONS(START OF):
-The cons are basically minor. This is a fine site, part of the excellent MetArt network of glamour sites.
-The default biller was rocketgate. I've used them before, with no problems. But CCBill and Epoch are more widely known, so more trusted to easily cancel your membership.
-You immediately get a confirming email on joining. The email gives your username and password.
But no details on the credit card used, the membership prices, or the name of the biller. |
Bottom Line: |
CONS(CONTINUED):
-A random password is assigned to you, even if you have other memberships in the MetArt network. This is a problem, because the MetArt network has a software program that checks if you have more than one active membership with the network.
Edit: I tried logging in to a MetArt site, and got a popup stating:
"The MetArt Network is rolling out a more feature rich user experience to all our members. In order to do this, we need your help.
We have detected that you have multiple login credentials. We need you to choose a single username, display name, and email address so you can have one login across all sites."
So, they are trying to make life easier, by requiring a single username etc. Then why the heck didn't they just assign me the same login details I already had on my other MetArt memberships?
(This is really picky on my part. But in the past, when I used the process to adjust my login details to a single instance, I got locked out of the MetArt network until customer service fixed the problem.)
Since the notice is automatic, it blocks me from accessing any of my MetArt memberships, except access to the MetArt site itself.
(I currently have separate memberships to 5 of the MetArt sites.)
Thank you, MetArt, for blocking me from my membership sites.(That comment was supposed to be sarcasm.)
-The last update to the videos was July 01, 2018. So they no longer post new videos.
(I am ignoring the video titled "Anal Yoga" with model Lara A. This video is labelled a "staff selection", and you have to pay an extra fee to view or download it. Also, there is no posting data on the video.
The staff selection videos were an idea of making some videos at Erotic Archives require an extra fee to view or download.
BOTTOM LINE:
Site stats:
652 videos.
I'm not sure if those are the free videos that come with a membership to the site, or if that number includes the staff videos that each require a separate payment to view or download.
4401 galleries.
757 models.
73 contributing photographers.
-Years ago, if you were a member of any of the MetArt sites, you could get a discounted membership (around $10/month) to any of their other sites. But that was years ago. Today, if you are a member of one of their sites, and you go to the membership page listing their sites, they offer to charge you full price for a membership to any of their other sites.
You are much better off using a PU discount to join any MetArt site, because the prices are cheaper.
Or you can wait for a holiday special, when the prices are often discounted even more.
I joined Errotica Archives for $4.95 for the first month, on a holiday special.
So if you look around, there are specials to MetArt and many of the other sites in their network, during the holidays.
MetArt used to be a soft, softcore site. In recent years, they are trying to put a slightly harder edge on their content: however, the site is still basically a soft, softcore site. MetArt features nude photography. There is no hardcore action. Most photosets and videos at MetArt are solo girls.
There is a small percentage of content with 2 or more girls. No males allowed (except for the photographers doing the shooting).
The last few years, MetArt does allow the models to suggest a bit of eroticism, where the girl or girls (if there is more than one girl in the set) can touch herself or touch the other girl, but it's a very mild form of suggested masturbation.
-Errotica Archives is a glamcore site in the MetArt network that follows the same guidelines: soft, soft eroticism. The models are allowed to touch themselves, but it's the softest form of eroticism: the main element of eroticism is the model undressing and allowing her body to be viewed. Yes, the model might touch herself, but gently. So there there might be a hint of masturbation: but only the softest form of masturbation. No sticking the fingers inside her pussy, no harsh moans or groans of sensual satisfaction. This is strictly soft, softcore eroticism.
And definitely no boys allowed (men are dirty creatures who might tempt these tender creatures into forbidden sexual acts).
If you want actual sex, you need to visit one of the other MetArt sites, such as Sex Art, or ALS Scans.
So if you are fan of excellent softcore photography of beautiful women, Erotica Archives might fit you. They stopped updating their videos over 1 year ago. But I've never been a fan of softcore videos: I enjoy softcore photos of beautiful women, but almost always find softcore videos boring instead of erotic. No matter how beautiful the models might be.
There are too many factors that can ruin the fantasy in a video: a photo or series of photos of a beautiful women is easier to constuct an arousing image in your own mind.
Giving the Errotica Archives site a score of 89.
For the same price, you get far more content at MetArt, which swamps the Errotica Archive site in terms of backlog of photosets, number of models, and in the updates. |
