Hi Benmar,
Good to see you. I haven't visited Videobox for many, many years, and am sorry to hear of your recent experience with the site. Once Alison, and afterwards, The Content Dude departed VB, interaction between membership and site representatives declined to less friendly levels than had previously existed. I wish them no ill will and am surprised by your final sentence, but again, I haven't been around the site and have no knowledge of what has transpired of late. My only advice is not to take it personally, and move forward. Are you a member of any other sites at present?

Hi Rope. . . Great to hear from you - It's been a very long time. I really cannot believe how VB management treated me - 9 years continuous membership. . over 11,000 comments ( most of which providing missing or corrected star names to their members). . . and they treat me like dirt. The hard part is - NONE of my comments are currently visible to the membership. . . That`s hours and hours of now wasted time and effort - and yeah, that makes me bitter. . . I'm currently at Digital Playground, Full Porn Network, and the Lubed Network. . . I hope you are in good health and I hope our paths cross again in the future. . . Take care, my friend.

Without question, you were a great asset to the site. Among fellow members, you would undoubtedly have a 100% approval rating. Chances are oversight of the comment section got handed over to a new employee who failed to understand your contributions to the site. There's a possibility upper management wasn't even aware of what was taking place. This is why I suggest taking it in stride, and not letting it get to you. I understand your frustration, but would never characterize your work as "wasted effort." Firstly, I wouldn't rule out your comments being resurrected onsite, and secondly, even if that were not to occur, think of all the individuals you helped over that nine year span.
At the time you left, was the blog still available to members? I used to be able to access the blog as a non member, but can't seem to locate it now.
I just joined Nubiles (for the first time) a few days ago. Early indications are very favorable. That's the only site I'm with at present.
Wonderful to have touched base with you, and outside of this issue, hope all else is good on your end. I'm okay. Be well my friend; we can keep up with one another here.

I used to love this site, but customer support is pretty much nonexistent. I emailed like five times that a dvd was not downloading, waited the entire length of my membership and it wasn't fixed. joined again about a year later and it still hadn't been fixed and emails went unanswered that time as well. haven't been back in over three years. 95% of new content added is just rehashed compilations so the only thing on the site worth joining is the premium channels. Vivid hasn't updated in years and I think they pulled the reality kings or porn pros channel too, can't remember which had a channel on there.

If you think the premium channels are the reason to join. . . Think again - REALITY KINGS- No new scenes for the last 5 years. . . VIVID - Nothing for the last 2 years; then some 15-20 year-old stuff this Jan,Feb. . . PORN PROS - All I see are DVDs with stars from 8-10 years ago. . . ELEGANT ANGEL and EVIL ANGEL - Half of their recent DVDs are at least 10-15 years old. . . Better off joining the actual sites.

Yup which is why I haven't been back in years. Better off joining the official sites, I also found with evil angel that these were chopped up versions with the complete unedited versions being on the official site.

You will be missed, but you might not be missing much. After about 3 years I rejoined and the site has gone down. Streaming is slower, downloads are slower and custom downloads often do not work.
All 15 new movies (over 50 scenes)for the last few are exclusively Lesbian.
I'm gone.

Yeah, I saw that - 15 consecutive lesbian movies as their new releases. . . The mind boggles!! . . . And, to add insult to injury - NONE of them had the stars listed - ALL "Uncredited". . . It begs the question - Are they trying to lose members???

Hi Benmar. I wondered where you went. I quit Videobox for reasons you are too familiar with and I stumbled upon this post in my search for a replacement. So far I haven't found one.
Your Videobox comments were greatly appreciated and if it were possible to organize a "cancelation deluge", I'd be up for it but I don't think it would help restore Videbox to its former glory. I know this because I repeatedly asked them to increase their subscription fees and they never even responded.
Why don't you and ropeadope get together and buy out Videobox? I'll pay you guys $250 per year.

I think ADULT TIME is the best porn buy on the internet - You get OVER 60 separate sites including some major ones like DevilsFilm, 21Sextury, FameDigital, and RoccoSiffredi - all for the price of one!!. . . . I know nothing about managing a porn website, but. . . I would wager that Rope and I could do a better job than the cretins running VideoBox are doing. . .DISGRACEFUL. . . Nice to hear from you. . .
