Pros: |
-They've had a special discount of $9.95 for the first month for a while now. If you don't see that price listed, I'd wait for a holiday special price of $9.95 for the first month, since there are all kinds of holidays they offer that price at.
-They have an outstanding collection of beautiful and lovely models in the 18-early 20s age range.
-They have both photo sets and videos. The photo sets are offered in low, medium and high resolution.
-The videos are also offered in low, medium and high resolution.
-Unlimited streaming and downloading. |
Cons: |
-If you know what the site is, a stand-alone softcore glamour site of lovely young women, your expectations should be met. Don't expect hardcore action.
-The biggest con is probably that they constantly delete older material. Members often complain about it. I don't know why they delete when it irritates their members so much.
-Pre-checked cross-sale on join page. Standard for most porn sites.
-No information on the models, except for the model's name.
-If you spend $75 at their on-site store, you get a free cock ring. Flash this cock ring at your local gay bar, and you can be the life of the party (sick joke?).
-This is a stand-alone site. No bonus sites are included with your membership.
-Video resolution goes up to 1080p. There are a few 4K videos, but they are definitely in the minority. Many PU members want a 4K option at the sites they join.
-Zip file for photosets is only offered in one definition. Strange for a glamour photosite.
-Some hot links don't work correctly. |
Bottom Line: |
Site stats:
Photosets: 3,800+
Videos: 1,000+
Models: 700+
Stephen Hicks died in 2013. He was the main photographer and owner of the Digital Desire website.
He specialized in high quality glamour photography over a decades long career.
His work appeared in such adult magazines as Playboy, Penthouse, Hustler, High Society and many more when those types of magazines were in their heyday (late 1960s through the 1980s).
He had an eye for beautiful women. And he presented them lovingly in softcore glamour photography.
One common complaint from the site members is that a lot of the content has been disappearing for many years. Not sure why. You have memories of some outstanding photographs, you come to the site, and it's not there any more. Which can be disappointing. This can happen at different websites, but the Digital Desire site is almost famous for deleting content.
They have over 700 models, most range from attractive to lovely.
Lena Anderson, Lexie Fox, Bailey Rayne, Keisha Grey, Shyla Jennings, Jade Couture, Kenze Thomas, Kasey Chase, Victoria Valmer, Aubrey Belle, the list of gorgeous women just goes on and on.
How a model is presented can make a world of difference in how attractive she looks.
Digital Desire, under Stephen Hicks, was famous for its softcore glamcore approach.
Since he died in 2013, the site has featured a harder edge: it's not hardcore, but what you could call midcore, with female masturbation, lesbian. But I couldn't find what you would normally call hardcore, which features men having sex with women. No men at the site (except for the photographers).
Note: the site did feature female masturbation and lesbian before 2013, but it was with a softcore approach. I'm not explaining this very well. Let's call this a softcore site featuring some female masturbation and lesbian activity.
If you are a fan of the Playboy and Penthouse magazine photo layouts from the 1970s, then this site will probably appeal to you. Stephen Hicks contributed to those magazines. He had an eye for beautiful young women, and presented them in a loving glamcore setting. In both indoor and outdoor shoots.
Many photographers seem to have a problem with outdoor shoots. With the lighting or sound control or other factors. But the Digital Desire site has a professional approach that showcases the photo sets and videos and they are just a pleasure to view. And the soundtrack, which can often be annoying with random sounds or over-loud music at some sites, is not distracting. The Digital Desire site just presents you with a polished, softcore product, which is what you are looking for.
Although this site does not compare in amount of content versus such mega-sites as MetArt, Femjoy, MPL Studios, I think it's definitely worth a join, if you are a fan of softcore glamcore photography.
Especially with the $9.95 price for the first month of membership. |
