i think ppl a better definition of a trust rating should be given. the amount of content in a rating should not effect the overal trust of the content, sometimes just a few words say it all.
no i think trust should be if someone gives an out of scope rating. and why is this out of scope rating

honestly i have a problem to give people negative trustratings. i my opinion mostly the rating depends on the taste of the rater and the viewer.
i only give negative trustratings if i don`t find enough information and/or the information was wrong.

No, I have never made anonymous trust-ratings, anyway.

I have to say I wouldn't ever submit a negative Trust Rating without some sort of explanation. How else are the other users to know if you have a good reason to not like the user because of their comments / reviews as opposed to you just being offended by their name or some other trivial reason?
The required comment seems like a great idea and will hopefully make the Trust Ratings more accurate. I hope more people will add constructive criticism to the comments as a result.

No way, I give what the person deserves in my opinion. I'm giving fewer trust ratings then usual because its hard to find someone I have not given a rating yet.

I always give my username when leaving comments, so I doubt this will affect my reviews.

I think requiring a comment is a very good idea and it won't affect any rating I might give. I've always looked at a negative trust rating without a comment as just someone looking to lower someone's rating.

I have a basic problem with anonymous trust ratings. Why are they permitted, even for positives?
That said, I fully agree with the requirement that all trust ratings, positive or negative, have a comment.

If one gives a negative, they must explain themselves. If they give a positive, they don't have to. It's like instituting "Affirmative Action" in order to give those positive ratings a better-than-equal opportunity.
Ridiculous.

One thing does concern me, though... Why would anyone give anyone a negative trust rating and not comment to explain why? I got one of those! I know I can be an asshole about certain forms of porn, but at least let me know I am an asshole and tell me why so I can at least explain myself!
I am not passionate about my porn without my reasons!! Ask me why I am acting like that and I promise I will give you an answer. People who don't explain why they are acting like assholes when they act like ones... Are the worst ones!

I'm guessing you missed the announcement where we mentioned that ALL negative Trust Ratings now require a comment/ reason.

You need 5 points in order to begin giving trust ratings.
