Seems like your email quote was cut short.
Did you have any comment/opinion on the email?
I'm surprised there is not a lot more fraud in porn, because there is fraud in commerical businesses, and you would think that porn, with a lot of very small businesses, would have an even bigger problem. Can a small businessman in South America afford to sue someone in Germany or Spain? What would be his chances of collecting anything?

I had a very difficult time canceling my membership through this billing company, so I believe Bosque when he claims he was defrauded.
He's using CCBill now, but not accepting Visa for some reason.
I don't know what his chances are, but I will avoid this billing company whenever I see it.

Thanks for responding so quickly to my question.
What Bosque emailed sounds reasonable.
As far as not accepting Visa for payment, probably a financial reason. Each credit card company can charge differently to business they are dealing with, and Bosque apparently feels Visa would charge his company too much for the transactions.
It's not simply a financial transaction from member to Bosque's site, but there might be currency translations as well, and that could get expensive.
(Just guessing.)
What really burns Bosque is they not only stole his membership money, they also demanded 2000 euros to install the billing service on his web site.
The gall of some of these thieves is amazing.
I read where some of these Internet scammers in Africa justify their thefts by saying they are only taking a small amount of money from people who can afford to lose it.

I never used this company to pay for anything but it's no surprise to me that google finds a lot of articles dealing with problems that this company used to have in the past. I do hope that Walther finally gets his money!

To be accurate ...
The editors (me) asked you to make the 2nd part a reply (continuation) of the initial Comment rather than as a second, stand-alone Comment, as you submitted it.

Anyone remember ibill? They got the people at ClubSandy and PixAndVideo so mad by not transferring payments to them that both sites posted statements NOT to use ibill to subscribe. (ibill was still listed as a billing company at their sites, so I suppose it was some kind of contract snafu.)
ibill used to be all over the place on porn sites. Then ... *poof!* And toward the end, I got shut out from a couple of sites that I'd subscribed to through them ... for "sharing access," which I did not do. Can't prove it was people at ibill who dealt me that; can't prove it wasn't, either.
I'll tell you one thing, it's best to use just one credit card for all of your porn transactions, just in case another billing company goes rogue on us all. It's certainly not an airtight measure of precaution, but it beats the alternative.

Yes, I remember ibill - and not to be trusted.
Do not know exactly when they got out of bussiness, but this may be right:

BTW: Have to agree entirely with Drooler about the use of creditcard - got a couple - but always use ONLY one for porn-sites - that way it's much easier to follow the transactions!

I used to use Visa gift cards for porn sites, which was the safest way, but the billing companies eventually disallowed them.

That's interesting. The part I don't get is that it was "scrambling" to find a new upstream processor after its contract with the current one expired. That sounds like somebody "forgot" something that was, well, kinda important. ;)
That's when defecation impacted the rotary oscillator (i.e., the shit hit the fan).
BTW: by "the alternative," of course I meant NO PORN :-(
