I agree with pinkerton. Going from blond to black generally works better. Bambi, the extraordinarily beautiful Hungarian, is an example, though I still prefer her as a blond. Amy Reid's gone black before, but brown to dark blond are better on her. Same goes for Lara Craft. And I've got older material of Anita Dark with really black hair and she looks hot -- but blond is what really suits her.
When Veronica DaSouza went blond, it didn't work, nor did it for Susana Spears, though that's the only one I've seen of her, at what's now EroticDestinations.
And other-worldly pinks, greens, and blues? Forget it.

Sometimes it's fine, but it all depends on how the model is trying to portray herself.
If she's always been this All-american girl and suddenly dyes her hair from blonde (or brunette) to a much darker color it kinda pushes their persona away from the all-american girl to more of a rebel type girl.
Black chick who go from their (should be) normal hair color to a random color under the sun gives them a more ghetto look. At the same time going from a color such as purple to black or dark brown gives them a more sophisticated look that personally appeals to me.
So obviously I can't give a clear cut yes or no because it depends soley on the model.
For the male models out there DON'T DARE EVEN CONSIDER DYING. Unless they're gray and trying to get their normal hair color back you should not be dying any hair.

Back in the good old days when unshaven bush was common, I really liked the snatch to match (nothing like a beautiful trimmed blonde snatch on a beautiful blonde babe), but now I like whatever color enhances the babe. I'm more into hairstyle than color.
One amazing example of how much difference hair color makes is with Victoria Vonn, who shows up with several hair colors, most of them OK but not great. But when she appears as a full blonde, Little Richard magically changes to Big Dick even before she gets naked.
Also the hairstyle on the babe can do wonders. Bald is awful but a pageboy of any hair color on a beautiful babe just drives me fucking wild.

I don't really mind at all when it comes to originally blonde or brunettes changing to whatever as long as it does not involve red. My largest quirk is when a redhead changes her hair color (I love REDHEADS) to something else or the blondes/brunettes go red. I don't know why but I just don't like fake redheads. I hope redheads undertand that they are beautiful with natual red hair! However, if you are blonde and go to brunette, more power to you, I'm not the biggest fan of blonde hair so I can relate to them wanted to go dark. I do like the extremely dark hair 'raven' look, so bring that on!

I have to agree with Susana Spears,ok I am biased as she is a fav. But some look really good and some look trashy and not in a good way.

I guess sometimes it can be an improvement, but I usually like things the way they are.
I haven't seen many natural brunettes that I liked better as blonds. And that fake red color some girls dye their hair doesn't really look bad, but it's just not natural so I don't like it. Also a woman dying her hair jet black is a bad idea unless she's goth.

If I liked the model originally, changes seldom seemed for the better....not just hair color, either. New "enhanced" boobs on someone who was once fresh and sexy, often turns a pretty girl into a sad and fake Barbie-Doll.

to me it doesn't matter as long as she "looks" good.

I don't mind if a model chnages her hair color from time to time. It's more question of whether it suits her or not. I guess the only exception for me are red heads. I just love that hair color, and the skin tone that normally comes with it.

Models are almost always going to play with their hair color - it helps keep them interested - seeing themselves in different "looks" - if they look good and engaged and interested and sexy, then I'll be happy.

I haven't noticed that many models who's done it, so I probably don't mind. ;-) And I agree with pat362, redheads should never change their hair colour.

Doesn't matter to me unless the hair color "defines" the model. Like Cherry Poppens should never be anything other than a redhead.

I go along with Jay G, that if I like a model, changing her hair color does not make me like her more. Probably less. One hair color that is difficult for many models is red. Redhead models, at least in the porn world, often look like a bad dye job.
