I'm sorry if this is a completely n00b question but what exactly are pre-sales? Joining another site while joining this one?

np, pre-sales are boxes that have been pre-checked for you so when you hit "complete transaction" what ever that box has, you had you agreed to it. For example the box might have a free three day subscription to another site and then charge you full price after the three days. To avoid this always view your order and if you see and boxes with checks on them carefully read what they say to avoid any pre-sales.
