Wittyguy (0) Likewise, I've never actually looked at it before today. After looking at I can safely say that I don't think I need to look at it again until next year.

Drooler (Disabled) I'm pretty irregular with it; it averages to about once every two weeks.

You might think of it as the proper "can of spam" here, but with some shifting through, I've actually found sites and joined them by reading the "news." Not many, of course, but I still think it's worth a gander every now and then.

pat362 (0) I'm with you guys on not knowing of it's existence until I saw this poll. I'll take a look before I make any judgement.

lk2fireone (0) If the "News" is the "Announcements" section, I look at it every once in a great while. Which is about how often a new announcement (or news) is posted. If I'm correct in that the "News" is the "Announcements" section, I think that some of the responses to the poll are not really accurate. If the "News" is not the "Announcements" section, then what is the "News" section?

BadMrFrosty (0) REPLY TO #8 - lk2fireone :

I think its refering to the "Browse News" link in the green right hand menu on the homepage.

Either way, maybe some tweaking is required to make it more prominent and thus get greater usage?

Many thanks for the explanation, BadMrFrosty.

I've never used the "Browse News" link before. And after reading some of the entries in that section, it will probably be a few years before I use it again. I find it difficult to imagine how the entries posted there would be of general interest to most PU members. Maybe I'm lazy, and don't think it's worth while to dig through the trash to find any interesting tidbits that might be there.

If other PU members do find the "Browse News" link useful, more power to them.

PinkPanther (0) The "announcements" hasn't been updated since the end of March. Why would anybody be browsing it more often than "less than once a month"?

As Drooler submitted the question he can better answer what he meant by news but ...

I don't think the "Announcements" page is the one being discussed here. Obviously, that page is only updated when there's a change or update to the PU site.

What I think is the target of this poll is the actual "Browse News" link in the right hand column of the main PU page. That page is a collection of "site news" items webmasters have submitted for their site(s) and/or networks.

Denner (0) It's a special link where - like I see it - webmasters can come up with deals, news ect. to PUs - but ok, Browse News may not be the best name for it in the first place.

And still, I click on it regularly to see if new deals are on - alas too few 'serious' webmasters use this...apart from some who may overdo it in the endless hunt for customers.....that could partly be considered as spam...

Drooler (Disabled) Hey everybody. Did you read the question? "How often do you 'Browse News' at PornUsers?"

If there's any lack of clarity, kindly take credit for it.

Yes, it's what it says, in the menu on the top right of the home page. Duhhhhhh!

PinkPanther (0) Well, I certainly answered correctly - rarely or never - since I didn't even know it existed until a minute ago.
