Look at the address on your browser for that page.
Most pages show http:
But if the page is secure, it shows https:
Browsers used to show a lock icon at the bottom of the page to show the page was secure. But Firefox stopped doing that years ago.
(If the page itself shows the lock icon, that is meaningless/worthless, because that would just be part of the page design by whoever designed the page.)

To the best of my knowledge:
The page where you enter your email address, username, and password is NOT secure.
Where you enter your personal identification data and credit card data is NOT secure.
I would check with an expert before I entered any of that information on the pages to join that site.
The pages where you enter that information have:
http:, NOT https:.
http://webdesign.about.com/od/ecommerce/a/aa070407.htm
The URL above explains the difference between http and https.
Do not use http pages to send confidential data. It is dangerous, and can be easily hacked.

Thanks, lk2fireone. I'm glad I didn't complete the transaction. Even though I trust the site I don't trust their security. You just confirmed my suspicions.

Hello Messmer,
For what it is worth, I was a past member to this site and didn't have any concerns regarding security. This site is a sister site to the Score network (one that I have also joined without issue). I thought this site was pretty good and will rejoin at some point in the future. Good luck!

Thanks, mr3633. I do trust the site itself and have been a member of the Score group before so I'm not worried about them. My problem is with the join up pages because both are insecure and could be hacked and mined for credit card and personal information.

When a simular concern was posted about ScoreHD I did some investigation. This site uses the same signup form and security, so the comment below which I posted for SocreHD is still valid:
"I had a poke around and it looks like they are using Jquery encryption to send the details to the server via Javascript. So even though the address itself is not SSL encrypted, the credit card details themselves should be. Try the signup form with javascript disabled, nothing works :)"

Thanks, BadMrFrosty, that's reassuring. Just one question because I'm not a tekkie but nevertheless read a lot on cnet about these things. Isn't javascript itself full of security holes that could be exploited or is that a thing of the past? I know my brother has it turned off in his Firefox by default. Thanks.

Javascript is not the issue, its the code that can be written and the way the browser executes it that causes the problems. As javascript is not compiled, it is up to the browser to interpret and execute the code as it sees fit. Any security holes are a fault of the browser and are not inherent to javascript itself. bad code can be written to exploit these holes.
Turning of Javascript completely is fine but you will find a lot of sites refuse to work without it. I personally use Firefox with the addon NoScript which alows me to pick and choose which sites I trust to run Javascript and which I do not.

That's exactly what my brother does, he uses NoScript as well, I tried it once but found, as you stated, that it crippled too many sites, so I got rid of it. Thanks, friend, you've put my mind at ease with your explanation!

I was a member of the same website, 50 plus milfs.com.Cancelled my membership 2 weeks after I joined up.I had to cancel my membership right thru their site.Looked up my membership and it said it will expire on the 14th,Anyways a few days ago I was rebilled once again.I do believe they pushed back the date my account would expire by a week so they could rebill on it again.Looking thru my recent bank transactions I noticed a rebill for this website and a phone number.Anyways after dealing with a bunch of bs I was told I would recieve a refund back into my account in 7 to 10 buisness days. We"ll see what happens.I just wanted to chime in cause it"s unfair to the customer when bs like this happens. So anyways just BEWARE if you are a member and you decide to cancel.

Thanks for the timely warning, Tee. Your experience is one of the reasons why I like to do my transactions through Epoch or CCBill.

I totally agree with you messmer.I have joined up and cancelled memberships thru both epoch and ccbill several times, and never had any problems.Always happy to give a heads up with stuff like that happens. The site itself is a pretty decent site that could use more content, but I will never join this site again or any of the companys other sites after what happened.

Just wanted to report that I recieved a full refund back into my account today.I would encourage others that have Legitimate billing issues about a site to post them also. This is something that (while not always)could end up being helpful to you and at the same time it alerts others about a site.At worse even if you do end up getting fucked with or fucked over at least there"s a chance your costing them some memberships by posting. It might not be much but it"s some consulation,Just be sure you have a legite beef before you post.Hopefully no one has any issue but I know thats wishfull thinking...Good Luck...

Too bad I had already forgotten about your response because I signed on, did my usual cancellation through support because I couldn't find anything else and was informed that I would have to cancel by phone.
See my latest comment. I love this site, too bad this is going to be a spoiler for me when it comes to future subscriptions.

The cancellation issues i had kinda killed this site for me,Too bad because i think this is a pretty promising site.I also felt when i joined this site because of the lack of content they have here as compared to other sites like scores hd that they should give their members bonus access to 40 something mag at the very least,As some models from 50 plus milfs also appear over there. There is some bonus content with this site,Just not enough of it and that would have been a nice perk.Anyways that how i felt about this site when i was a member.Hopefully you were able to get your billing issues taken care of before they tried to rebill you messmer. If the only billing option for this site is going thru the scores group i won"t be rejoining again anytime soon. You should never have to go thru any bs of having to call up and talk to someone just to get your membership cancelled. Not too much out there for mature in hd yet,Pretty much this and anilos.I acually thought this site was a little bit better, too bad that trying to cancel is so diffucult.

Well, as it turned out they weren't trying to cheat me. Their offense is simply making it too hard to find the right "button" to get to the cancel (see my latest comments above). After another email they sent me a note confirming that my account had been canceled. I agree with you that there is too little content just now otherwise I would have stuck around for a while. I did like what I found so most likely I'll look in again in a year or so. I know that with one weekly update it would hardly make sense to re-subscribe before that. BTW, I noticed in very fine print on the join page (after the fact) that I could have gone to Epoch and subscribed through them. That's what I'll do next time. Too bad there aren't too many other sites like it, as you mentioned as well. I find Anilos a very good site and subscribe to it on and off but find that, generally, their models are a bit too young for me.

Thats good to know that they bill thru epoch also,I"ll also prob wait close about a year to rejoin unless they update more and add additional bonus sites.I'm sure i will rejoin again as long as epoch still does billing for this site and go right thru the epoch site.I agree with you about anilos, they mix too many younger models in and don"t seem to have too many new older models as of late.
