For me, this is a dividing line - I want to see pics of hot babes that look like living women. Too many sites paint their pics to a point where, to me, they lose all eroticism. Find hot models, light them well, take the pics and I have no problem with doing some reasonable touch-up to make the pics look as good as they can, but I'm turned off by the lacquered or painted look that some sites go to.
Sites that put themselves on my Love List for avoiding unneccessary photo-painting:
ALS Scan
Met Art
DDGirls
and others with a similar style
Sites that keep me away with their insistence on painting pics to a degree that does away with the eroticism:
Pier 999
Ron Howard (though I like his close-up vids, despite his annoying talk)
A site that I wish got away from photo-shopping as much as they do: Twisty's - it's a great site and they have great models, but they're photo-sets would be hotter, from my perspective, if they messed with the pics less than they do, for the most part - I've got to say, though, that their stuff has been going in the right direction over time.

The test should be: can you actually tell that the pictures have been touched up? If you can, then it's annoying. You can tell, when a girl at hi-res is absolutely devoid of everything, including stray freckles or the tear ducts in the corners of her eyes (which Playboy used to shop out). You can also tell when there are movies that go with a set, and the girl has marks in the movies that aren't visible in the pics.
I understand that they want to make the models look more 'perfect', but to me it feels almost like censorship, or as if they were saying 'you can't HANDLE the truth!' No, it's just a freckle or a old zit; I'll be ok.

Some touch up will do the trick for me. I would say raw originally, but lately I have been seeing the raw stuff and its not as attractive or pleasing to me. Just take out some of the acne, glare, pores, or any small imperfections but otherwise leave it as it is.

I was going to indicate that some touch up was ok, but I voted for raw since some retouching jobs go way too far and in many instances they retouch things that I'd rather they didn't like freckles, fine lines, and even a little meat on the bones. I recently saw a retouch job on a freckled star I like (Vixen Vogel) which removed all of her "beauty marks" and did some unecessary work on her entire abs area. I don't like zits at all or scars in most cases, but I'll live with them if that's the only way to keep the elements I do like.

I'm sort of concerned about seeing raw pictures of some of my favorites! I hear that a certain glamour, busty model with a last name meaning "Gift from God" in Italian has to have some touch-ups sometimes for hair above her facial lips. Just a rumor maybe, but I don't want to risk that. I would hope they don't start cutting the meat off the bones. I've found a real attraction to a model named Lucky, believe Lucy on some sites and I think even as Andrea on other sites, that has a bit of a pouch on her stomach, but she looks incredibly sexy to me...at least.
Even Eve Angel and that other one I mentioned at the top have gained some weight over the years. I'm pretty sure I've looked at them enough that any imprefections are looked over anyhow, though facial hair may be pushing it lol!
On the other hand, I don't mind the sites that airbrush. I guess it could be excessive on sites, but most look more like the women have been laying in tanning beds all day.

My 2 cents: I love beautiful women, but they need to seem real. Plastic dolls just don't turn me on.
I never liked to play with Barbie Dolls. After looking at thousands of women, sometimes even a little acne is sexy in an otherwise beautiful face.

I prefer the real deal. On top of that, with HD resolution, it's getting harder and harder to do a good airbrushing job, so why bother?

Whilst I don't tend to look at pictures that much, I'm more into videos, I think that photo-shopping/correction shouldn't be used really.
I like to know that what I'm looking at is real, and the picture is true to form.
Even if the complexion is bad, leave the pictures alone!

In the long run it does mess with your view on women.
But if they didn't there wouldn't be as many porn stars around as there are these days. So there'd be less choice and less variety on the internet.
But I choose the "raw" option.

What you said here is right on the money -- just the way I see it.
I want the girls to look as natural as possible, so a bit of professionally done touching up is OK if it doesn't show much (especially to remove those red butt zits).
