Most the time it is important, but some models don't have to seem to enjoy it to turn me on. Like Allie Sin, she never seemed to enjoy it really, but I was good with that, because I was enjoying it enough for both of us :)

Frankly it's difficult for me to enjoy watching a babe going at it mechanically with no emotion even if she's endowed with the perfect body and face.
I want the babe to be fully engaged in the sex. A good example is Gianna Michaels. She's always totally engaged and turns me on both with that fantastic body and with her enthusiasm. I just can't imagine spending more than 15 seconds watching her if she was just going through the motions.

Well, if we're talking about female models it's very important to me, but the males...not so much (it's almost always shown whether or not they are "enjoying" themselves anyway).
I would like to believe most women I watch in porn are getting more than just a paycheck and a slap on the ass out of the deal, even if it's all just looks in the end.

The first membership I had to Nubiles.net, I found the site to be a let-down because the models looked bored to tears in many of their photo sets. They addressed that issue and their work now shows a high level of engagement from the models. I'm not saying that they should have a plastered-on smile in every photo - in fact, I feel like the model Aaliyah Love ruins a lot of her work by having the incessant huge grin. Any expression maintained at all times seems phony to me.
So while I can't say that a female adult model or porn babe needs to look like she is having the time of her life, I want to see her connecting with the experience and I don't want her to look like she's grimly bearing it.

The model should definitely be showing some kind of emotion or enjoyment or arousal. I don't want a lot of fake moans and groans, but I don't want the female to be a slab of meat who is just lying there getting pounded on.

Matters little, Because mostly it's just pretending, and it shows -- even during their most heated scenes, her minds' probably only on things like what she's gonna wear at an upcoming event.
There is, however, a very important issue that flat gets under my skin, and one of my biggest turn-offs: Thats having to do with the performer looking away from the camera, or staring at the director for instructions...worse if he's verbally giving them; and especially where there's no emotion associated with what she's doing. Solos, for instance, mixing smiles and/or yakking with supposedly hot scenes.
