If I remember correctly, I had no problem using DownThemAll with this site when I was a member, though that's been a while now.

I use DownThemAll without any issues. However I only use it to download two clips at a time and not do any schedules or larger grabs. I get my 100M connection nicely maxed out like that.
When downloading without it, about 5-6 was the most clips I could DL at the same time while still being able to surf the actual site. I don't know if it maybe limits the connections per IP address in some way?
