Some time ago, I subscribed to a site in the same network and found the same issue - probably in common with some other folk here, I have a separate webmail address (gmail in this case) for, er, extra-curricular activities.
I got round it by setting up a dummy address on one of my personal domains and forwarding it to my gmail account. Works fine, but obviously only if you have a domain you can play with.
Depending on your ISP, you may be able to play around with their email setup? Eg some ISPs may give you an address of anything@slutty.isp.com and give you the tools to forward varations of the anything@ etc.

yeah, that's what I'll probably try, I got an email address with my ISP a long-ass time ago, I just have to figure out what it was and what the password is and I suppose it will work.
