When I wear shoes, I usually wear socks or stockings (socks is another term for stockings, I think).
I've never tried to wear pantyhose. They seem to be a lot of trouble to put on. And what happens if you have to pee? Do you cut a hole in the crotch, or what?

Pantyhose hide the genitalia and don't do anything to enhance the view. Long stockings enhance the legs and stop where the fundamental interest starts.

Stockings, yes sometimes...pantyhose, definitely not.
If the stockings "fit" into the scene, that is, if they don't seem out of place with how the girl looks are the surroundings she's in, they're okay. But generally I love beautiful bare legs.
