Oh, yes - (and usually) - guess the best way to see what a new PU is all about is the reviews ( AND sometimes comments).
We've had some mysterious inputs - but Khan and the others take care of that.
Now and then we get inputs that are so obliviously either promotion or fake - and I feel it's reassuring that our WMs (again Khan/others) quickly dispose of those (delete) - which I think is so great a way to get rid of the spam - bottom line a sincere thanks to Khan and the team - I just think it's important to keep this place spam-free - that's what we all want...

I mainly focus on reviews when giving out trust ratings, more than comments or posts. But only occasionally do I mention a specific review by that person. Although I have read a lot of reviews that were interesting, informative, humorous or really a pleasure to read.

No, not usually...I don't often leave a comment with a trust vote to be honest but its usually the person's most recent review which prompts the vote.

Usually: a review, especially when it is of a site I know, will draw my attention and I recognize the honesty and objectivity behind it and give the author a thumbs up in the form of a trust vote complete with explanation why I did so.
There are times I remember, when reading posts in the forum or a comment, that here's a user who's well known and trusted by me but whom I forgot to give a trust vote previously. So he gets one not based on a review or comment but upon my general impression of him over the months. In this case he usually only gets a "sorry, for some reason I forgot to give you my trust before this."

I tend to give them early as a form of encouragement. If the person has posted a helpful comment is usually sufficient to get a vote from me.

I might mention something I particularly liked, but the rating is based on overall trust.

I tend to give general reasons for the reason of my trust rating rather than specific reviews or comments.

No, don't pay any attention to them at all. I understand the concept of the Trust Rating, but I don't really get why some Porn Users put so much emphasis on it.
Actually, I think "Trust Rating" is a bit of a misnomer. Should be called something like "Reliability" or "Confidence" rating, based on how well and accurately the commenter reviews a given site or how pertinent his comments are.

Never so far. If I read a review from someone I have not trusted yet and find it trustworthy, I read few others from him and give the rating as a general statement. Unless of course it's his first review.
