I don't mind the odd cut or fade, but unrealistic oohs and aahs, and music are definitely a turn-off. I've seen just a couple of sites with acceptable BGM; but mostly it's shockingly corny stuff and makes the whole scene farcical rather than arousing...

My choice is a mix between no edits and cut/fade between positions. Sometimes the transition between positions can be awkward, especially where removal of clothing is concerned, but on the other hand, I do like seeing the girl sucking the cock, and then guiding it into her pussy or lowering herself onto it before riding it. Straight cuts between positions detract from the watchers involvement a little, I think.

For me the issue isn't what kind of editing, as long as it is well done and doesn't ruin the continuity or mood of a scene. One of the things that really bugs me about some scenes is having a guy and girl start to fool around a bit and then edit to her naked and giving him head. What happened to her clothes? Seeing a woman get undressed or be undressed is a favorite thing of mine.
Back in 2006 Smash Pictures did a video called "Moving Violations" where they didn't do any editing. The camera and sound was turned on and the talent did their thing. Nothing got cut. It was interesting to watch, and I would have like to see a small series developed from it, but it did underscore the need for some editing.
And as for the fake moans and groans overdubbed on the scene - those have to go.

Dubbed moans aren't really moan-moans. I don't like that stuff. Makes me remember this Italian-made hardcore vid I saw of Julie Silver once, and as she was getting it in the anus, there was this really intense "eehhhhhhhhhh!" along with lots of Italian in a voice that didn't sound anything like hers.
About editing, some probably can't be helped. Sometimes there will be outtake material, but the editing should be kept to a minimum. Can't stand that pretentious supercut nonsense that reminds you of the opening to Romeo and Juliet with DiCaprio.

There wasn't really an option that fell under what I prefer but the closest is cut and fade between positions. I prefer real sexual sounds so no fake dubbing and unless the music is so much background noise that you can't tell what it is then I don't want it either.

That's how I feel as well, edit by all means, but don't edit just to get quicker to the action.

I'm also with rearadmiral on this one. Well said. I also think some, especially some of the euro sites, could do a bit more editing, I don't really have a need for 40-60 minute scenes generally speaking and I have gotten too lazy to edit them myself lately.
