Not really. I don't think many people who do get guilty consider it a hobby ;)

Porn solved my problem: chasing multiple women (anyone who was pretty), spending time and huge amounts of money in the pursuit of them and all the baggage that comes from the chase including divorces and acrimony.
No matter what women say upfront, they get angry and vindictive at men like what I was when I moved on to others. I was a jerk who tried to make fantasies reality. Porn allows me to enjoy fantasies that are ONLY fantasies while living a stable productive life with a wonderful caring spouse.
Women come on to me a lot less often now that I'm older, but when they do I simply talk about my wonderful wife and let them know politely I'm not interested. I now have my fantasies at a very low cost.

My guilt is only when I choose to watch porn rather than do other things that need doing...like today is the deadline for filing my 2010 income taxes...which I guess I'd better get started on today.
OK, one more check of MetArt, first then off we go.

Guilt I think like was discussed in the forum, is perspective and subjective.
I never had problems with the ladies, I remember in the good ole days even doubling up a few dates the same day.
Then 12 years ago one of the ladies I skirt chased became ill. She told me she was tested and I often well I been testing my self the last 12 years every year. I have a clean bill of health and 12 years ago is when I started finding other ways to chase that skirt. Found porn as nasty as the word sounds
worked well and would not result in me possibly killing the ones I loved.
I have heard porn will turn people to act on fantasies, I found my fantasies lead me to act on porn. Its now a hobby that a few years ago I spent way to much time on and took time away from it and PU. Now its fun, and I try to keep the activity way down to pleasure maybe once a week. And occupy myself with other things.
Going back to the question, I think I would find guilt if I had made another ill by my fantasies.
Now I keep them in my head and my significant other in my bed.

With me it depends upon the type of porn I watch, I don't feel guilty about watching porn per se but have occasionally come across scenes that made me cringe and caused the reaction: I shouldn't be watching this.

Never.
For me it is a healthy, harmless pastime that ensures my thoughts & actions do not stray from fantasy into the real world.
If I stumble over something that doesn't appeal, I move on quickly.

Concur with Cap'n - in an admittedly perverse way, I consider porn to be good clean fun.
I would only feel guilty if I felt that anything I was watching involved genuinely untoward exploitation of those involved.

I don't feel guilty about the porn I watch, or watching porn, but I sometimes feel guilty about the amount of time i spend watching it...

Can't say I have. Though I do feel guilty if I watch the news.

Answer: No guilt.... never was, nor is it now, and I think its pretty accurate to say if I'm watching porn as I'm taking my last breaths of air, I'll likely go out of here the same way.
PS..... Should I then journey out while watching a particularally moving scene involving one of my favorites.... I'd say the smile etched on my face would speak for itself.

Well put jayG ....
All the replies to this poll have been excellent. All of'em leave you something to think about.
Your clever concept marking the switch from women to porn hit the bulls-eye. Porn is indeed cheaper -- incalculabley so.
It's less abrasive, won't talk back, and it amplifies all your favorite anatomical parts ... the ones our generic ladies are sorly short of.

To be honest, I'd like to sort out what DL'ed content I really like, stash it on a dedicated external hard drive and keep the PC mostly free of porn, with the occasional look at my stash as the need arises - a lot of new stuff I look at now isn't that great these days

What's to feel guilty about??
And I do not care if some hypocrites in some news media say different - bet the worse and a lot of those are watching porn, too. But deny it, of course...
"Oh, beware - that porn will lead you straight to Lucifer", says reverend Bartholomew Dingleballs of Wichita - who just invested in the Brazzers Co. for congregation money...LOL

Wholeheartedly agree with Capn on this one,
However sometimes porn has distracted me from other interests (missed out on a few poker games because I wanted to download stuff from a few sites) Nothing big, but it worried me that it could be an addiction.
I guess not the porn itself as much as collecting it. Since I have made a concentrated effort to enjoy it as just another entertainment, nothing more, nothing less.
