Men at Play is an extremely well known site catering for those who like men in suits. The videos are very well produced, usually with a plot, great sets and some good performances. The production values are extremely high. Some people may find them a bit "glossy", but this seems to be the high end market they're trying to attract.
Uploads are frequent, generally 3 x weekly. The content is a mixture of plot based movies, solo, casting and audition videos, all revolving around guys in ( and out of) business suits.
There are over 360 videos shared between the above categories and over 130 original picture galleries. The pictures are generally 600x900. The pics are easy to flick through, with a slide show option, but for some reason are not downloadable as zip files, which is a real pain! There are also screencaps of all the movies.
The videos come in low, medium and high quality, with the later ones in HD and all are available in quicktime, flash and wmv and are fully downloadable.
There are four bonus sites which have five or six scenes from the following sites: Blue Blake, Colt, Kristian Bjorn and Michael Lucas, as well as a frequently updated blog. The bonus sites only offer limited content which isn't updated that often, so I wouldn't really factor this into reasons for joining the site.
There is a very good model search facility and the opportunity for members to rate and comment on models and videos, which seems fairly well used by members.
At $25.95 the price isn't too bad given the quality of the content, and it's amazing the variety of scenarios/niches played out in what would seem like a fairly narrow category. A good mix of solo/fucking/rimming and roleplay - all very light if you're into heavier stuff, however.
This site has become a bit of an institution in the gay porn world and is definitely worth a look. However if you're not into polished, scripted scenes with plot, great sets and filming, but rather porn with a more amateur feel, then this isn't the site for you. However, with the current trend for rough around the edges, amateur or gonzo porn, this does come as a bit of a breath of fresh air. I doubt if it would sustain my interest for months and months, but certainly worth joining once to download the material.
What stops it from getting 90+ is the inability to download pictures as zip files, the fact that a minority of the videos are in HD and that the glossiness can be a bit stilted at times. But recommended nonetheless. |
