apoctom (0) I use Kaspersky. It does a scan of high-risk areas daily and a complete system scan weekly.

exotics4me (0) I'm on NOD32 too, I have mine set to scan each day when I power up the computer. It usually takes a few minutes anyway, gives me time to grab a drink.

SnowDude (0) I use Norton weekly and assume it works. Probably a really stupid thing to do, but who has time to check for viruses? It's not like I work for the CDC or anything. ;)

SnowDude, I trashed Norton a long time ago. A system hog. When I uninstalled it, my start up registry shrunk to almost nothing. It puts so much junk on your pc. I use AVG free, it's great, and doesn't conflict with anything else. Norton is a bully !

jd - There is one small known issue with AVG free - I went to install AVG and got a warning about a potential conflict with Roxio 7. But I definitely agree - Norton AV (along with just about every other Symantec product I've tried) oughta be made illegal.

mbaya (Disabled) I am happy with Trendmicro. My friend had Norton and so did I and it just wasn't anywhere as effective. Also, when I renewed, I lost several months of coverage that I had paid for the year before.
