I had a comment about this---the Suzedotnet customer service contacted me very quickly in the middle of the night. I once had one tell me if I didn't like it, i could cancel my membership, which i promptly did!

Very important. The only sites I have had trouble accessing, Eve Angel's site, which is still not updating much. But they did send me an email explaining the reason no one could access the site and explained the updating part as well. The only other site I had trouble with was 21st Sextury sites. Someone had hacked my password and was passing it around. So, they banned my account. I sent a email, within 6 hours they had corrected the problem and had me unbanned.

I choose "very important" because having a problem near the end of a subscription term means either getting the problem fixed quickly or missing the last part of what I paid for.
Happened with MC Nudes; pwd got hacked and shared the world over. They got back to me in less than 24hrs. Was appreciated.

Should a PU who submitted this poll answer too. Yeah, why not?
I guess everybody has an urge, when joining a site. And what a bummer it is when you can't gain access after paying.
So it's a very importend issue, that webmasters or even a billing-company see to it, that paying costumers get their moneys worth - is that the right frase in english?
I've had what I think is more than my share of problems - after paying up.
Some webmasters/billing companies are doing an ok job, but as long as there are sites that don't give a shit about paying customers, it's good we have PU and TBP.
Thanks to the fellow PU's for responding to this little poll.

If access is denied to a fully paid for site, the subscriber is entitled to either an immediate reply and repair or to an extension of his subscription. Most sites where I've had that problem respond very quickly. In those cases where no response is received, access is OK a few hours later so contact is not important.
One notable exception is Danni.com. That site does not respond to any emails to its support center. That's bad, because Danni has a serious problem with broken links and bad files, in particular some of its archived material. Sadly, the site continues to be unresponsive to its paying customers.
One site, victoriapink.com, gave me an extra month when they were unable to fix an access problem for a three day period.

It's the difference between a professional web site that gives a damn about their members and a completely un-professional site that doesn't give a flying f about their members.
What difference does it make what the site's content is if you cannot access it after paying to do so?
Webmasters that ignore this critical piece of the business are missing the boat completely.
In my experience:
Hall of fame: Suze.net, DDF, Phil-Flash.com, ALS Scan - all responded quickly and professionally and took care of the issue with no hassle whatsoever
Hall of Shame: MyaDiamond.com (responded after weeks of hard work following them everywhere I could think of), stephanieswift.com (I had to track down the guy that designed the site to get access - I love Stephanie, but she needs someone to run her site for her), Asia Diva.com (HORRIBLE people to deal with!)

Once in a blue moon, I've charged by phone instead of credit card, and my info wasn't entered into the system immediately. In a couple of cases, I remember waiting more than 24 hours for access.
That just shouldn't happen. It's not professional, and it suggests a level of incompetence (whether one actually exists or not). A site has the responsibility to make sure someone who's joining -- whether it be by ccard or check or phone -- be granted access as soon as their payment is verified. At the very least, a site has the responsibility to inform new users that they may face an extended period of time before granted access. Then it's up to them to decide whether to join.

I've got a "good news" story also, about Hegre-Art. My access was not working for a couple of days, so I thought I needed to sign up again.
Whoops! Then I had two overlapping, concurrent memberships, which I found out later by reviewing credit card statements.
Dealing with CCBill on this was a real hassle, with lots of arguing, though they seemed to think I was the problem. They wouldn't do a refund, and to be fair, my request was past their official deadline.
Then they referred me to support at Hegre-Art, which agreed to give me a six-month extension (that's how much I'd paid for), which I currently enjoy.

Its very important. We are paying for a site and we deserve our full service which most definitely includes the webmaster answering back when we have something to say.

If I have paid for access and I don't get it than I at least want to know why. There might be a valid reason but until I'm told what it is. I can
only assume that I'm not being well served, and that can leave a biter taste about that website.

I agree about DDF in the "Hall Of Fame". I once had a problem with one of their sites that took a few days to correct, and they gave me a free month membership to the DDF site of my choice!

Considering everything today is automated and logins are pretty much instantaneous, being able to log in is important and issues should be dealt with quickly.

I think that webmaster response to a technical issue is crucial to the success of a site. Every site is going to have problems now and then, especially when it's new, but when those issues are addressed quickly my opinion of that site is always going to be positive.

This is extremely important to me! If i'm paying buku (sp?) bucks for something, there had better be fast solutions.
This is why I really like Nubiles and their forum, as there mods are the person who owns and runs the site, and their tech guy. You post a question for help, and depending on the time of day, you could havee an answer in minutes!
