I had a similar experience when I cancelled my subscription to Fame Digital network.
I called a toll-free number, and got a recorded message all the representatives were busy. I left my telephone number. That was a few days ago, and I don't think they ever called me back.
But I found a link on one of their sites that let me cancel through a webpage, and I got a confirming email soon after.

Yeah, I eventually got responses to my e-mail and the message I put on their web site - but compared to ccbill or epoch where you just enter your membership info and get immediate confirmation of your cancellation, it's a pain in the ass and one more psychic obstacle to rejoining in the future.

I have never had any problems with Evil Angel's payment processing.
You refering to Famebilling? (i believe there isn't even an alternative though)
Well, anyways. All i have to do is go into Famesupport, and from there it's like regular cancellation like with Epoch or Ccbill.

I also had no problems cancelling, just like any other site, follow the trail of crappy questions and selections then wait for an email.

No problems here. I clicked the 'support' link at the bottom of the Evil Angel main page, got pushed over to the FameSupport website, and clicked on the 'Cancel Membership' icon.
Had to supply username, ORIGINAL password, and e-mail address + answer a captcha challenge. Done deal.
(I had need to change my PW about a month ago. The cancel process did not work with the new PW.)
Except: they offered to renew me at $11.65/mnth (three month deal) and I took the offer ;-). I'll report back if things don't work out with the reduced rate offer.
