'Other.'
I find both equally distasteful.
I think this is part of the reason that in general I dislike videos

Having had two girls one guy RL adventures, it's hot. But my DNA says I'm homophobic* and I believe it. And it definitely gets mixed messages looking at a tranny at work.
* My homophobia does not extend to having gay friends or what they do behind closed doors. It just makes me squirm if I have to watch it.
But then, one would think that watching a girl taking it up the ass, since this is so associated with gay sex, would be verboten. But it's not. Oral could be dumped in this category too, but it is my main interest - b/g.
Sex is such a confusing world.

Hmmm interesting poll but I picked "other" because I'm not sure any of the other options are correct, at least not for everybody.
Personally I do not understand the whole straight men watching lesbian porn thing, but it seems undeniably popular with many and just because I don't get it doesn't mean it's wrong. I can't see any harm in it. It's a sort of standing joke that "lesbian" sex made for a straight male audience isn't a realistic potrayal of how real lesbians have sex, but so what? I wouldn't expect it to be.
I do know of some women who watch gay male porn but it's not really an issue as they seem happy to watch porn designed with gay men in mind and I haven't seen their custom change gay porn in any way, so it doesn't bother anyone.
Clearly heterosexual men aren't going to want to watch gay men having sex, and even if they found it unpleasant to watch that doesn't make them homophobic.
The fact is that the vast bulk of porn is aimed at heterosexual men. What heterosexual porn that there is aimed at heterosexual women would not include lesbian scenes.
Some straight men are clearly not into lesbian scenes, so I guess it's best for them to boycott any movies with it in and make it clear there is a market for non-lesbian porn aimed at them, but I am sure there must be lots of stuff out there without lesbian scenes?
Bottom line - porn producers make what sells - lesbian scenes are popular and they sell, it's simple and no need to make a big deal out of it or worry about homophobia. It's creating problems where none exist.

For me porn is all about the fantasy, and for me specifically that involves women of a certain age range and body type. Anything outside that range really isn't part of my fantasy so I don't download it. I'm not homophobic, but that just isn't part of my fantasy so I wouldn't be interested. The same goes for MILFs or BBWs. I can appreciate that there are viewers who like gay stuff, MILF stuff and BBW stuff, but it isn't for me.

A very interesting & well reasoned post.
It makes a lot of sense to me, & I agree with what you are saying here.

I have never felt that sex between women in a hetro film makes them lesbians but Bi-sexual which I've know a few women in my life who were. If they were true lesbians then it would be a different story and there are some straight up lesbians in the biz. But if you're swinging both sides of the fence it makes you Bi. Same for guys - I remember it being said that Peter North made gay movies but if true then he is Bi - not gay.
But you are correct regarding wanting to watch gay porn - I wouldn't even go see Brokeback Mountain because the subject matter made me squirm though I am sure it was a well made movie.

Hypocritical attitude. I'm personally not offended by gay porn even though it does nothing positive to me either. I don't get people who act all shocked and give warnings to each other by some occassional male penetration in straight stuff ;)

Women...bottom line.
Straight sex, lesbians, masturbation, toys, whatever.
For straight guys, THE reason for watching porn is to see some woman get "done". Closest gay porn gets to that objective is shemale porn, and even then the whole equipment deal is just a deal breaker for most straight guys.
Further, far as it being nauseating, well, that's probably more to do with beliefs of gender and role, but also might be that gay porn offers little to nothing a straight guy would want, can relate to, or want to relate to.

None of the answers are "correct" because human beings all have different ideas of what's "normal" and what's "disgusting" and these beliefs are beaten into us at a very early stage in our life when whatever culture we live in tells us that only a few things are "OK" and we had best avoid any other sexual stuff.
There is something in human nature that wants to control others: what they eat, what they wear, how they talk, and, especially, if and when & how they can have sex.
