Update!!!!

Finally have access again. I know I will never get an explanation from Comcast or Met-Art. Somewhat baffled, I am assuming at this point Comcast needed to confirm my identity along with my PC and account etc. For what purpose? I can only guess it wasn't for anything good. Makes you feel like law enforcement will raid my house or something over porn usage. Either way, I felt you all should know that ISP's are not your friends.

rearadmiral (0) Look at the bright side though, if law enforcement raids your house for porn usage all the rest of us PU members will be in jail too. It'll be like a Pornusers convention!

Seriously though, I'm glad to hear you got your access back. Met Art seem to be a reputable site so anything less would be troubling.

lk2fireone (0) If Metart reported that other subscribers using Comcast were having trouble accessing the Metart site, it seems likely that Comcast was the source of your connection problem.

I have used AT&T and DSL Extreme, and have never had any problem connecting to Metart. And I've been a Metart subscriber many times over the years.

Maybe you should consider using another internet provider, if you have any other problems with your connections. If that is a possibility.

First, I'd like to apologize for the downtime. It was one of those instances on the Internet when things were truly out of our control. :)

Second, I'd like to reassure you that the situation didn't only apply to you. Multiple customers were affected, and the common thread in them was either being a Comcast customer in certain geographic locations or being a customer of an ISP that leases from or routes through Comcast in those regions. The earliest reports that we received of the issue was late June 13th/early June 14th. It returned to normal functionality on June 18th.

If you have not already, please contact our Support team at support at met art, and reference this thread for more information.
