I agree but disagree Capn, my photos are often of non out door and I tend to delete those that are. I think at least for me the scenes makes the scene. As some may know I do photography and to get the best shot I take half of the background into consideration.
There is a funny picture I joke you not taken romantically and beautiful lush green pastures and a pond with trees in bloom of fall. about 100feet way in the background there is a Dog doing his dooty in the background. LOL so the scene for me matters allot. But I put quite because model is key scene us second.

Yes, it's video scenes here. It's very important - it's a matter of mood.
An Example: Just downloaded this 21 Sextury vid with Sunny Diamond - that starts in a "courtroom" - with some hopeless "actors" - and on top a judge surrounded by two Stars-and-Stripes flags - and he can hardly speak english (and with a heavy russiann accent) - a bit unreal, isn't it? It's not Monty Python....it kind of ruined that show.

Setting is important assuming that includes lighting, background colors, props and set dressing. Scenario a bit less important, though a scene (e.g., Obedience School Part 1, Scene #02) with a nice story line makes for a much better scene.
