A word of caution about joining this site

This is nothing too serious, but knowing this might save some aggravation when joining.

The site bills through Epoch and when you go to join there is one pre-checked cross-sell to Jordan’s other site, The Ass Factory. There is also an unchecked cross-sell to Team Skeet for a seven day membership. I unchecked the choice for The Ass Factory since it only had less than a dozen updates in the past three months or so, and I checked the Team Skeet option because that seemed like a good deal.

The problem with the Team Skeet membership is that it is only a TRIAL membership and only allows you to stream one scene. It doesn’t allow downloads. I’ll admit that I may have missed something, but I don’t recall that the up-sell mentioned this was only a trial membership.

The more annoying issue is that when you go to the Jules Jordan site and select for recent updates they are laid out in a grid pattern. At the top of the grid is a banner ad for The Ass Factory. The problem is that the first three scenes listed are actually from The Ass Factory and clicking on them brings an Epoch confirmation page where you have to opt in. It wasn’t clear what I needed to confirm so I did that thinking I was confirming my Jules Jordan membership and now have a membership to The Ass Factory too.

I’m fairly sure that I bear a lot of the blame for this. I suspect that if I could go back and re-read the join pages that the information was buried in there somewhere, but some of the blame has to go to Jules Jordan’s site for making the information a bit confusing. I’m sure I’m not the first person to draw these conclusions based on the available information, but with any luck I’ll be the last PU member to make this mistake.

Tree Rodent (0) No it's not your fault admiral, it's the fault of these organisations once again. It's not designed by chance, it's designed to deceive. This type of behaviour, is robbing people of money, and causing a lot of bad feeling towards porn networks. This sort of thing doesn't happen when you visit tube sites, and doesn't happen when you download for free. They are scaring and chasing away the few of us left who do wish to pay for our porn.

Roberto281 (0) Its definitely not your fault when you get scammed,as I did too by the same con. Its really disappointing that a site that has everything going for it like Jules does to damage its reputation by using trickery. I expect it from sites like BangBrothers and others that don't put out a good product anyway, but for one of the premiere pornographers to do this is a real buzz kill.

I agree 100% with what you wrote. Like you, I'm an active and paying porn buyer and it really bugs me when I get fleeced. Guys like us should be seen as valuable customers and not mere marks in a scam. Dammit, I WANT to give these companies my money so they can continue to make more porn.

Amen to that. But I'd add to this that the fact that Jules Jordan's DVDs are divided between two $30 sites is also part of the scam. But then this isn't the only site that uses this tactic. They have the basics covered well: they shoot excellent porn, they make it available in a variety of resolutions up to and including true HD, they have great download speeds, they update regularly and the price is fair. So why, why, why do they feel the need to do this to customers???

Monahan (0) The right answer is that we PU's boycott those sites that set traps like this. I've already been doing that but if other members of PU not only refuse to join these sites but also post their beef on the comment section, we might get to the webmasters and make them realize that they are losing business.

Jules Jordan will not get any money from me until they start playing fair.

What bugs me most is when these tactics are used by porn companies that offer great porn. Why fuck over your customers and risk having them not come back? When you have a great product and people willing to pay for it why not NOT fuck them over? Like you, I'm not asking for special treatment, just fair treatment.
