About the same as the color of the walls..... not what I'm looking for but OK if it doesn't obstruct the view too much.

I prefer if they are not there because it can be a distraction but I think the main reason why we seem to see more of these is because too many performers are now sporting large tattoos in places that those clothes can hide during the scene so producers make sure the model keeps some clothes on to hide them as much as possible.

I'm ambivalent mostly but a certain sense of urgency within the scene makes it believable.

Excuse me, but doesn't the aforementioned have to be pulled up/down over the models' midsection somewhere before it is removed to carry on with the nude part of the scene?
Obviously I'm overlooking the importance of what this all "really" means.

FWI, it used to be (perhaps still is) a trick used to hide the fact that a model was a little thick through the mid section.
