Jay G (Disabled) I think most pay-sites will stay on-line long after they stop producing material. Getting the occasional enrollment now & then makes the bother of taking a site down not worth it. Unlike a brick & Mortar store, these sights don't have a lot of overhead once they stop working on them.

Wittyguy (0) If you think of all the paysites out there featuring recycled crappy porn, then the answer is "no", the vast majority won't make it. As for the big boys, the ones getting regular reviews around here, I'd say probably half will be around in a decade just because even if they stop producing new content they just recycle until the cows come home.

LPee23 (0) I also think it's going to be about 50%. Going back through my collection, about 50% of the sites online in 2005 are still online now, so I figure history tends to repeat itself.

pat362 (0) I say 10% will still be active and by that I mean actually still updating.

jberryl69 (Disabled) If porn companies are anything like normal corporations, the big guys buy the little guys so who knows.

Monahan (0) The problem with a poll like this is that many sites are currently being gobbled up by large companies and will continue to operate as if they are separate companies.

I expect 66% will still be there, but probably only 25% of the current companies will still be inbusiness with the rest being bought out or closing up operations.
