These guys need to fix their server issues pronto or just close up shop. It's as simple as that.

They keep saying it's DDOS attacks, but honestly, after the Nth time - why should we care? Just fix the problem.

If Wendy's never has fries, but always has a good excuse, at some point I'll just give up on Wendy's, right?

Usually, behind such problems lie greater problems. Maybe a management change has resulted in less spending on security?

I've been going back and forth on the ATK site while typing these comments, and it has taken over 30 minutes to get through a picture set.

I'll give it a month. After that, I'll make it official with a review. The site's score average should reflect its inaccessibility.

I understand your frustration and believe me if we could just solve the problem we would have done that long ago. Ddos attacks are very hard to fight but we are working around the clock to minimize them as much as possible but it is like fighting a losing battle. I do not understand the motive behind someone doing this to a website but the sad fact is many companies go through this.

One thing we will not do is "close up shop" we will continue to fight against it and put in new safe guards and new hardware to give our members what they come to us for.

We have one of the largest libraries of content in the industry and it would be a sad day when our doors close. No matter what we will continue to fight but the sad thing is, our members suffer more than anyone and that just pisses me off.

eden (0) Yeah....504 gateway error. This is ridiculous. Karups is about the only other website that's up there in terms of competition and they never have issues like this. Also, I notice that the pages don't load up on some of the links unless you hit the reload button. I'm not sure how much more of that I can take. Definitely not satisfied

I am going to reply to this comment EVERY TIME I encounter a server problems with your site, just to show the world how non-stop this problem is.

So yes - today, the server is down *again*.

You may not think it is down, but having to click 'Refresh' several times = server is down. I wouldn't bother for a free site, let alone one expecting payment.

At what point does this become fraud? At what point does thebestporn.com disassociate itself with you?



I noticed that your server is CloudFlare. On their website, they have four different pricing tiers: Free, Pro, Business, and Enterprise. All four levels claim to have 'Basic DDoS Protection'. Does it not work? Which pricing tier do our ATK dollars pay for?

CloudFlare boasts on their page that Wells Fargo uses their services. Does Wells Fargo have these sorts of problems? What would happen if they did?

Has this mess awakened the powers-that-be at ATK, or are they still pinching pennies while the site goes down the drain?

I do appreciate your responsiveness. It is unfortunate that someone screwed up and has left you to stomp out the fires.

I think the biggest questions is: why weren't these high-quality safe guards and hardware there to begin with? You get what you pay for.

If cutting corners can hurt General Motors, I'm pretty sure it can destroy a company like ATK. Just do things right the first time.

Tell the people in charge that we customers aren't stupid.

*Today, 12-20-2014, there is no ATK website at all. Not even the visitors homepage will load.*

On the plus side, at least people won't unknowingly subscribe to this mess. They way things have been going, it's best if ATK just vanishes for a while, provides prorated refunds, and returns once they've truly fixed the problem. As much as I've enjoyed ATK over the years, money is the bottom line: they don't give us free porn, so why should they get free money?

Any porn site that is relentlessly attacked like this is going to be down. They don't have the resources of billion dollar businesses like Wells Fargo bank, so stop making stupid analogies.

Yeah, the ATK sites have been up and down with this problem, but I'm sure these guys have been trying anything and everything to resolve it. I've had my gripes with their content, but they need our support in the long term. We need to fight the attackers, not the victims.

Seem's like out & out Cyber warfare is taking place the world over (Sony, N. Korea, etc).

Some hacker has unleashed their bots (virus laden PC's) on ATK in hopes they will go out of business. Let's give ATK our support and help them anyway we can.

To those who have come to our defense, I am very very thankful. We have been working none stop to get this under control. We are doing everything we can think of and jumping on any suggestion that is made to us by our hosts. This is exactly what the end goal is when a site is being hacked (no matter who is being hacked) they want their members and future members to believe they are trying to rip them off. That has never been the way ATK does business. If that is the way we treated our members we would not be starting our 19th year in the industry.

We do everything we can to keep our members happy but when something like this happens we are literally dead in the water. All we can do is try to stay above water and keep reminding everyone we are not a bad site and we have never nor will we ever think about ripping off our members.

There is not a moment that goes by that someone on our team is not looking at the sites, 24 hours a day, that I can promise you. This will not bring down ATK because we are stronger than this.

Also:
- ATK didn't even acknowledge the attacks in their news feed until Dec 20.

- ATK hasn't acknowledged the money customers have lost, which a responsible business should do.

- Why did I get an ATK promo email on Dec. 17, well into their DDoS problems?


Hacking sucks, and I don't want hackers to win. But none of that forces a company to keep revenue they didn't earn.

If you can't provide your product/service, you don't keep the money.

You guys seem ready to start a Kickstarter for ATK.

I would be more openly supportive if they would address the money issue. That would be the honest thing to do.

I'm not saying they're explicitly trying to pocket the $, but how many days with no service before they acknowledge it.

People need to quit ignoring the big, white elephant in the room here.

Each member that has emailed us for a refund has been refunded. If you email us we will do it right away. We can not change the dates of rebills with CCBill because we do not have access to any of the credit card information. I'm sure you can contact CCBill or your billing provider and they will tell you we do have have access to that.

Since we can not change billing dates through CCBill we are offering members free time on the site of their choice. However, it would be silly for us to start giving out free pass to the other sites when the problems are still going on. Members are being advised to contact us once the problems are solved for their pass to another site. I'm not sure what more we could do. We are not in practice of keeping peoples money when they did not get the product they paid for. If they want their money back we are refunding, no questions asked and no hard sale to keep you.

The first post we made on Hairy about the attacks was on 12/9 then on 12/18 then on 12/20. We were not trying to ignore the attacks we were trying to fight them. We had no idea how long they would go on for.

It has always been ATK's policy to cancel a member the first time they ask to be canceled. We do not do a hard sale to make them stay we simply cancel their membership. We want our members to be happy and we want them to give us a chance again in the future. If we make it difficult for them to cancel or they feel they were ripped off they will not come back to us.

We look at members in a long term sense not just as a one time customer.

This cyber attack seems to be nearly as big as the attack on Sony and North Korea. I mean ATK is a part of history of Internet porn, has been around since 1997. I believe it is still one of the largest porn networks out there and the hackers seemed to have targeted on that. Hopefully this attack is not from places like Syria and Iraq and you guys are not waiting for threats!

As of now the access problems seem to getting worse day by day and I am hardly able to log in at all. Hoping you guy are working on it and problem gets sorted out soon.

offline (0) Been a member of ATK sites too many times to remember. I always appreciated the quality of their sites...or wouldn't have returned. I'm sure they will get this access problem worked out and all will be well. With that said I will also add that I am not happy with how they are handling this issue with their customers. ( I assume we are all in the same boat) I have not been notified one time about what is going on and what they are planning to do for the customer. Funny thing is I just received a promo email from them...really!!!. They can send me that email but nothing about why I can't access my subscription. I had to visit this forum to find out what was happening.

i am sorry but this is one thing they are completely wrong about...

I begged them for a refund after the ddoss attacks began and they refused no matter what to give me a refund.

In the middle i was asked to take a free 2 week pass instead of the refund..

so im sorryt but atkgalleria does not offer refunds even for ddoss attacks.

that is one thing i will not support their saying..

if you expect a refund from the ddoss attacks.. you will NOT get one.

i begged atleast 5 times to give me atleast a 2 week refund and they vehemently denied me that over and over again .. i was given a 2 week pass to atkpremium so it was not a total loss but i honestly felt like i was forced to get that pass and it was not a choice i made.

I'm a current member and have not encountered any difficulties in accessing content where it claimed to bel. Once in a great while, I'll get a informational pop-up from Cloudfront that forces a browser integrity check, which takes just a few seconds to accomplish. I think it's safe to renew your subscription.

I'm not making any accusations here, but this line from your reply reads more like it was written by a paid promoter than a casual porn user.

I'm going to wait until webmaster Advent comes here and says they have the DDOS attacks under control. If I join ATK Galleria on your word and I have trouble, who is to be held accountable? All you'd do, if your were a promoter, is say, "Gee, that's too bad...I'm not having any trouble like that."

Whereas if Advent comes here and says it's safe, then he is speaking as an official for ATK and will be answering for any trouble that I may get.
