Euro pricing has never been nothing but a penalty for those not living in US. If euro was to drop below dollar, I bet we'd see many regional pricing schemes dropped very quickly.

The smart approach from the European perspective would be to lower prices enough that they could be competitive, but still have a greater margin of profit than they did before the devaluation of the Euro.

I don't see what the Euro has to do with anything as most European sites use the American dollar when it comes to membership prices. I know of only a couple of sites that use the Euro or British Pound in their pricing.

The exchange rate is just one factor among many. It might mean a slight uptick in profits for Euro sites from US sales and a slight increase in the volume of sales. Tubes, piracy, and concerns about privacy are probably all more important factors though.

I've been surprised that there seems to be no drop in prices at the sites I've seen. Many still use an older exchange rate & add a service fee for converting dollars to euros. Bargains would tempt me if that ever happens.

I can't really say, but I can say that since the Canadian dollar has lost a lot of value relative to the U.S. dollar it has affected my porn buying habits - of European sites that use the U.S. dollar and of American porn site.

It is very annoying to me that the price of the European sites have not gone down much. The only occasional deal is in annual subscriptions.
