Not moves in the stock market. I don't think that moves in the stock market would affect too many people's budgets, unless they celebrated winning trades with porn memberships.
But, around 2008 I had a suspicion that the recession would put a number of studios out of business, so I stepped up my overall buying. Unfortunately, I was right. Many studios were hit hard by many factors, and would close in the followings years. What I couldn't predict was that the industry would enter such a long, drawn out consolidation. I thought new studios would have formed to replace the old by now, but I think the overall number of studios is still way down from 2008.
