Certainly possible, but definitely would complicate things. I enjoy being monogamous in my marriage and wouldn't do a thing to change it.

I can't help but feel that it is impossible to have an open relationship where both partners regularly have sex with other people without this leading to the destruction of the relationship.
Exactly how healthy of a relationship can you have with someone if you want to have sex with other people?

"Healthy" is subjective term, and "relationship" can be defined specifically in many ways.
I knew a couple who were by appearances in a happy marriage, and the wife would actually help the husband to find extramarital sex partners.
To me, that relationship was unhealthy because they had actually taken things that far to compensate for what was probably a very unsatisfying sexual relationship between the two of them.
But this all comes from my own concept of a proper relationship or of a marriage, which is monogamous and faithful. Those who differ with that concept might disagree with my opinion about that couple.

Definitely sex. The more partners for sex the better for everybody.
