Unauthorized Charges to my Credit Card

I subscribed to a monthly DDFNetwork access, but decided to cancel within a few weeks, which was my right in accordance with the terms and conditions. The on-line form told me there was no record of my account, even though I am certain I entered the information correctly - FOUR times.

I sent an email message to DDF Support, asking to terminate my account, and DDF promptly replied, claiming they had no record of my account, even though they had billed my credit card. I should say that I rarely use this particular credit card - and I had not used it for any other purpose for several months before or since subscribing to DDFNetwork.

I sent the DDFNetwork subscription confirmation email message back to DDFNetwork, showing them all the details of my account, and again asked them to cancel my subscription. Note that the credit card number was NOT in the email message - only the account details - so if someone intercepted the email, they could not have known my credit card number. DDFNetwork NEVER replied to my second email.

Three days later, I received a phone call from the security department of my credit card company, and they told me there was suspicious activity on my account. There was THOUSANDS of dollars of unauthorized purchases in Europe, which I had not visited for over 10 years. The credit card company reversed the charges, so I don't have to pay for the unauthorized charges, and the company cancelled my credit card.

These are the facts. Draw your own conclusions.
- A credit card I seldom use was hijacked when I legitimately asked to cancel my DDFNetwork subscription
- The unauthorized charges began on the SAME DAY I sent the second email.
- DDFNetowrk never acknowledged my second email.

Hello DeltaBlonde,

Thanks for Posting this, but its the first time im hearing about this, and I just received the monthly report from our Customer Service Department. Im sending this over to them right now so that I can pinpoint if it was one of our agents who you contacted from ddfsupport.com. If you would be kind enough to forward any communications you had with them directly to me at webmaster@ddfcash.com , that would be appreciated. Furthermore it would help if you could tell us which Biller Processed you, then I can dig deeper.

All our our members information is confidential and only seen by the Billers, or Customer service agents on need to know basis, so how your credit card info got into the hands of someone from our side who would charge it up as you mention is beyond me.

If your bank/credit card can provide us with Proof and locations of charges, we will certainly investigate from our side to see if indeed this was some inside job, but we have been operating for 16 years online, and this is the first claim of this kind I have encountered.

Are you 100% Positive you subscribed to our site and not some Con rip-off site Pretending to be us?
