Now we'll see how "addicted" we are! There's a long, deep recession threatening not only North America but Europe and Asia as well. Money will be tight in many homes. Do you think subscriptions to pay sites will go way down or would we rather give up that roast and switch to Kraft Dinners in order to feed the porn habit? Now we'll find out if our pastime is just a nice distraction or a true addiction! :-)

What's that old expression, might have been from the '60's, something like "It's a lot better to go through times of dope but no money than to go through times of money but no dope." Something like that. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

I actually have slowed, the last few reviews are about the last of 7 more I have left to do. I bought a car brand new 1/2 priced to give you and idea of the economy, and need the cash for insurance and such. I will still particiate but may be sometime before I can afford 3 -4 sites a month like I have been doing for along time., notice porn sites rasining prices which isnt cool either. But servers are getting available every month and the ppl need to charge more and its passed on to us. I just closed my server after 8 years due to cost. have a few domains still but will only have a handful by next year. But I have some awsome adult stuff to so not to worried, I have allot I havent seen yet so will be new to me to sort through. Cybertoad. Since 2007

Hey, congratulations on getting a car half-priced. I hope that practice will spread in the months to come because I'm due for a new one. I had my present one for some time. As to subscriptions, I decided the other day to let them all (3) expire without subscribing to any new ones unless I find THE site in the meantime: Female, solo or g/g, 50's, 60's, 70's lingerie, progression from fully dressed to completely naked. There's too much disappointment associated with too many of the ones I've looked at and reviewed lately. Or maybe I'm just getting jaded. :-)

Yup, Drooler - said by Freewheelin' Franklin of The Fabulous Furry Freak Brother - quote from Wikipedia: "The Freak Brothers comics include a number of catchphrases that have worked their way into the underground consciousness: "Dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no dope."--Freewheelin' Franklin The Los Angeles Public Library paraphrased this as "Books will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no books." on an in-library poster featuring the likeness of Freewheelin' Franklin. " "I don't drink anymore - I freeze it, and eat it like a popcicle"

That's the one! Thanks for pounding the cyber-payment and looking it up! I remember first reading it on a black-light poster back in my tender, if not quite innocent, youth. ;) So just for the record, obvious though it is by now: "Porn will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no porn." Maybe we should declare October "International Be Nice to Your Hard Drive Month." ;) I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

Hey Messer the secrest to a new car right now is to go the last weekend of the month. these guys are so desprerate they'll practically give you a BJ as a bonus to buy theior car. Ps not joking was a 32,000 car got it for 14,000 which is under half. On porn, well I think many sites have become mechanical in their production. Old school porn was way different. But I can't hardly tell the difference on some sites like Brazzers and Bangbro that its a new scenes. Because look like same thing just different ppl. Thats why I try and look not just for the mass content butmaybe some class acts along the way. You know that model that could be homless and still be hot. Thats what keeps me looking is the search when they make new stuff and I think they cound on ppl like me to do that. Since 2007

Let me know when you find something really different! As you said, presently it's often different people but the same old scene. I am even willing to consider hc, just give me something that makes me sit up: Wow, that's something I've never seen before. :-) Do you ever use the trial of a siteto help you find something new? Or do you just subscribe hoping that this one is different?

Since I'm not in the league of joining multiple sites per month. I'm more like 1 and on a rare occasion 2 sites per month, then I'll pretty much keep on doing what I've been doing. As for the recession, maybe I live in a bubble but I do not know a single person who's been affected by this so called recession. The price of gas at the pump as been a bigger problem then anything currently happening. No offense but I couldn't give a flying F..K if people on Wall Street lost their entire fortune tomorrow because of their unbelievable greed. I read an article today that said that execs at AIG spent 440,0000,00 on a retreat to a very expensive Los Angeles Hotel one week after getting an 85 Billons bail out package from the Government. Long live the Brown Coats.

See the problem is that when the gas price goes up we pay for it many times over again. Not only do we pay for it when we buy gas but we also pay more for other goods. Consider a box of cereal. Fields must be plowed, fertilized, seeds planted, sprayed for bugs and such, the harvested. Then the material must be transported to a refinery, then to a factor that makes the cereal. The factory also must bring in bags and boxes. Once the cereal is ready it must be transported to their warehouse. From there to Walmart's (example) central distribution warehouse. From there it is transported to a regional distribution center and final to the store, which you must drive to. So as you can see there are at least 13 transportation steps listed. I do not know what all goes into making a box of cereal. This also did not mention that raise in energy cost at the factory itself. While the fuel for transportation is not the whole cost of a product it certainly can have an impact on its production cost. In the end we all pay more for it. Coupling that with the fact that we have to pay more for everything else and pay more to go get it, it is easy to see that everyone is being affected. The price at the pump is just easy to see because everyone talks about it and it is a source of the problems, it also does not help that it is 60 feet in the air on a large sign. Also, we need to care about their fortune because if the market completely crashes nobody produces, buys or sells anything. I am not going to give you a can of corn for $100,000 if I do not believe that money is worth anything more than the paper it is printed on. If the market crashes the dollar becomes meaningless and banks foreclose on homes. Suddenly someone who owes $100,000 on a home needs to pull $8,000,000 out of their ass just to keep of the streets. Point is, we are all affected, just some more than others. And, some are more willing to look than others. "For example, badandy400 has taken it upon himself to become the one man Library of Congress for porn with a collection that surely will be in Guinness Book of World Records some day." ~Toadsith~ PU Interview

I believe that the price of fuel is the most influencial factor in the cost of living, since no matter what you do for a living. A part of your daily salary goes toward fuel in one form or another. My point is that the farmer who's cost of living has gone up by "x" amount due to fuel surcharges is not going to make more money if traders decide that his crop should be traded at a loss because they want to make money on it. The main reason why all of us are suffering right now with the high price of gas is because every aspect of the production of fuel is traded. As fas as I know there has not been a shortage of gas at any time this year, but we are still paying a high price at the pump. I appologize if my earlier statement appeared as though I didn't care about people loosing their jobs. My statement was more about the fact that I don't believe a single human being is worth 25,000,000$, so whenever I read or hear that a Wall Street executive just made that kind of money for his or her hard work. It kind of irritates me. Isn't one of the problem with the housing market the fact that banks lent money to people to buy houses they could never afford on their salary? If someone makes 30,000$ a year and goes to the bank and ask for a 500,000$ loan for a house. Don't you think the bank should say, sorry sir but that amount is beyond your capability to payback. I'm going to go on a stretch and say that in our parents time you would never have gotten that kind of loan. Long live the Brown Coats.

I'm going to go on a stretch and say that in our parents time you would never have gotten that kind of loan. [/QUOTE] Very true - the mortgage companies were basically pushing the idea that virtually anybody could buy virtually any house, because the values kept going up so the agents promoted the myth that people could sign up for any ridiculous mortgage plan and then refinance when the value of the house had gone up or if the house had to be foreclosed on, then the mortgage company would get a house that had increased in value. Then the bottom fell out of the market, which was impossible to support at the levels that it had ballooned to and everybody got screwed. And the banks and investment houses had developed such sophisticated ways to trade all of the mortgage loans that nobody really had any idea what they owned or what their real exposure was and the whole notion of debt to equity levels having some control, whether at the personal or the institutional level, was thrown out the window - craziness!
