1080p / HighDefPorn /Bluy Ray. Whats the Deal?? Hey, I No im no compter guru or nothing but, actually i no im like alot of you guyz in here, i didnt think anyone out there was like me, as in a porn collector. I mean i ben using TBP 4 at least a couple years now. In when im getting ready to sign up to a pay site(cuz no porn is free) i use to look at first, how many videos they had to offer(never messed wit pics they do nothing 4 me)anyway then the avg. length of their videos, then make sure you can download them, if all that is ok i wud sign up, n thats the only real way to judge a site.I get more knowledgable every day. In it takes a good computer to jus play a quality video, example i thought i cud carry my external hd over my buddys in show him a couple videos, i thought it was his computer that sucks, till it happeneed everywhere i tried. I had a dell for da last five years or so, till last year when i finally decided to buy da best computer u can have for playing videos and surfing da web and of coarse downloading. I went to da puter store by my house. Cuz i knew what i wanted just didnt no what i needed to get. What i wanted and peeps at comp usa dont have a clue and i cudnt get any help from them i mean everybody has an opinion but every body i talked to it seems like had different opinionz told dude my situation n what i was trying to do. and he seemed like he knew his shit so he built my system. I all ready had a case and power supply.Got out of my buddys attic it has lightz all on da front, the inside glows(i love it) and i had 8600 gts graphics card,and 4 sticks of memory, two 512s, and two 1 gig sticks. It still alot i dont understand exmple the whole dual core and core 2 duo, is there a diffrence???? I do no if your looking at buying a computer soon wheather off craigslist, wal mart, where ever you buy it you better have dual core or core two duo or quad core. Some kinda core unless u have nothing but time, which im impatient as shit.In yes i no you all are thinkin what does any of this have to do with the thread bluy ray 1080p. Maybe nothing who nose,But what I do no is, I have read a bunch of stuff yall wrote n yea i proly cud put a few posts out there replying to yalls thread.I dnt type much or i would of broke this story down into sections but you all will no me a lil better after reading all this and to dude who thinks somebody cant do 6 reviews in five days, you can especially if your up 24/7 for a few days like me sometimes.i can personally give at least a hundred pay site reviews, my niche is high def and softcore and ive bout wiped them 2 out. [large]In I just dnt get this,,,, At TBP there are couple thousand amatuer sites, like 700 n somthing softcore, n explain this, only like 35 or so highdef sites, y so little i thought highdef is the future, at least thats how i see it in a couple years, everything is gona b 1080p(espically porn). Does Bluy Ray look that much better than a normal dvd. I have unbelivable porn. My friends when they come over all they can say is DAM that picture iz unbelievale, they say it looks like you can jus reach out and touch her, I say for real, but inside im like, I NO. I mean that was what i was tryin to do.I mean isnt thaat what were all trying to do. Have the picture look so good it almost looks like the porn starz are rite there with you. QUESTION can i get a better picture with blu ray than what i have now or do i have the best picture and trying to get any better might be just a waste of money, What is your opinion 40inch Samsung lcd wit 1080p as monitor, cord is hdmi to dvi hooked to a 8600 gts video card and i got 3 gigz of RAM and Intel(R)Core(TM)2 QuadCPU @2.40GHz and windowsXP. theres my specs n i have 6 hard drives all external of corse 500 gigz each n i was reading someone say that they will die one day n keeping them all hooked up and running will shorten their life also. Will it??? And i have seagates and they have a power saving supply the light is on but its not running until I click on it, ive had no problems yet and there on at least 12 hrs a day. Should i jus have them disconnected or the power saving mode is good enough??? Or no this is nothing to worry about??? In I dont have no back ups. If my system did for some reason crash in i lost 3 TBs. Which iz well over a couple thousand dollars and at least 1000 man hrs (cuz ive never used a download manager). How do u replace your collection u dont. Theres no other way of backing up 3 terabytes other than to go buy 3 tb external hardrives copy all your shit to the new drives and put them away in your closet isnt that the only way to ensure you dnt lose your collection? In to b honest to dude wit 15 terabytes of downloaded porn i find it hard to believe you have that much porn, im not calling you a liar.I just no how hard it was 4me to fill up six 500 gig hard drives. Addicted or a Collector i mean my collection is insane if you really have 5 times my collection you for real might wana get some help cuz, I hate to break it to you but you have a problem. Anybody out there that has a few 500 gig drives know how much time and money it took them to get jus a couple thousand gigz and your saying you have 15 thousand gigz, what do you people think????? I cud write a book and ramble on all day about porn computers hd tvz, but i still have a few simple questions that i no somebody nose the answears to.And im pretty sure some peeps out there got sum questions that i no the ansirz to. So ASKAWAY???? And to dude who asked about downloading a whole site, In what in the world would you do wit all of it. HELLO you ddownload alot of shit while your signed up to the site cuz one day you wont have no money to sign up to a site, Duh hello now you have a bunch of shit to watch, organize, or just scan threw, Whatever u want,the point iz keep everything cuz you never no what kind of mood u mite be in or u might wana show somebody a clip or sum thin, DAM and jus think youll have it.Anyway only delete it if it so stupid or blury that youll never watch it, or if money and storage space is tight then so be it, but if hard drives is not an issue, keep everything i mean you paid for it. To answer that question: No, you cannot get a better picture quality than 1080p by switching to Blu-Ray. Blu-Ray is at best 1080p (sometimes 1080i). Oh, darealkidd also asked why there were so few HD sites. That is a more complex question but I think the answer lies in the start-up cost for high definition video websites. Not only do you have to invest in at least one HD video camera (with will usually be at least $3000) you also need a powerful computer to handle the video editing and you need to pay for a web server that can serve HD video - huge amounts of bandwidth. It is a lot of money to invest and the reason a lot of porn sites surface is because they have low overhead. "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!" WOW..All I have to say is WOW. That was very hard to read. At least push enter a few times to break it up...who cares if it is in the right place grammatically. Anyway, I am the guy that you think needs help. I used to download with out a manager, and I used to download off of dial up! 15 TB definitely took a while, and I am still putting time into it. I am not so much worried about when I will not have money for a site, but rather when I do not have internet access that will allow me to download so much. Toadsith gave part of an answer, my hats off to him for actually reading the whole post. It really does not matter what the resolution is and what media it is on. You can put 1080 on a CD if you want to. The reason for Blu-Ray is simply to accommodate the size requirements. It does look better than DVD, but it is not the same quality increase that was realized in the transition from VHS to DVD. They needed the capacity of the Blu-Ray store the data for the 1080, but it could hold higher resolutions. I have seen 1440 I believe it was before. But this resolution does not serve any real purpose other than to sound good since most monitors can not display that resolution anyway. So you will not find higher resolution on Blu-Ray than the 1080, as Toadsith already pointed out. A good DVD player and a good TV can still produce a good picture, so do not get bent out of shape about it yet. As for a porn site, HD would be great. However; it will chew through that 3 TB you say you have in a hurry. You will see a hit on you hard drive when 20 minute videos require a full Gig of space. Plus, you better have a decent internet connection, otherwise you will be waiting a while and/or blowing right through your download limits likes it's nothing. Again, please try to clean up your posts. Second grade English would also be appreciated. Otherwise, welcome to PU. Dude finally some one has enuff sense or brains to hear what i was saying. Anyway im not da smartest on typing a whole lot,never really typed much more than a creditcard number user name email and so on, u proly get my point. I didnt no u had to press enter but now i no. In it was aggravated da shit out of me. Not to mention im in a wheelchair have no use of my left arm or hand missing my right leg im really not even supose to b using my right arm its missing a big piece a bone. goda have another surgury soon i wrecked my bike last thanksgiving was in da hospital 4 two months. So im ust thankful 2 b alive . There aint a hole lot i can do but play on da cmputer. Dont really no y im telling all this but now u no a lil bit about da kidd. In i thought up untill here recently that i might of had a problem ust because no body i no has or even downloadz porn like me I mean hardly none of my friends have external hardrives n I got 6 500Gig externals but after reading a bunch of threads like the one collector or addict I wud say i use to be more addicted to downloading than watching. Thanks badandy u helped me a great deal all this iz new to me as in typing shit reading threads u no. I must appoligize for attackin u about u 15 TBz u say u have. Every since i read about u sayin u have 15tbs i wuz saying ther aint no way In my girl is totally cool so we talk about anything as we was talkin she said a couple things that i didnt think about when i read your post. I mean i ben downloading 4 a couple years and there isnt a hole lot left for me to download . But what i didnt consider is im all for highdef or softcore and masterbation. Personally i dont even like seeing a big dick on my screen.I ust like the natural beauty of women. I mean im not spending my money to see some dudes big dick on my big TV. Dont worry much about it. Some time I need to take a picture of all my stuff and put it up somewhere people can actually see it. I would need to clean it up a bit though. No prob :-) Yeah, I don't think Blu-Ray porn is worth it at this point, especially considering that I think most of the coolest porn out there doesn't get onto DVDs or Blu-Ray. However, I'll probably be upgrading to Blu-Ray soon myself, but that is a matter of the fact that my interest in cinema exceeds even my interest in porn. It is also due to the change in prices for digital projectors capable of 1080p output - I just ran across a refurbished model going for a mere $1300. For a viewing experience that surpasses that of a normal movie theater, I'm pretty much sold, lol "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!" I got Blu Ray with my PS3 and the quality is good but not a massive improvement over normal dvd's upconverted to 1080i. That goes for normal movies and porn movies I have tried. Though I must say a few HD Dvd's I've seen on Blu Ray do look great when they get up close shots! | |
