C'mon, guys ... you're about to make a grown man cry. Like Khan said, I've been movin' and it ain't been no walk on the beach. Had to depart from my beloved home, dispose of much of my treasured stuff, and move into an addition I had built onto my daughter's house (whose location is across the bay in Virginia Beach near the waterfront.) All this because the ravage of age is making up for lost time on wear-an-tear of me body and is now apparently working overtime to catch up. What with the woes of dealing with on-an-off-again varied contractors, general construction delays, all coupled with personal built-ups, have all together made the last 400-plus days waiting on the sidelines very tedious. Compounding matters, are current altercations with my beloved daughter...... including, but not limited to, her full discovery of my porn-related habits. That said, look for the full story published in a FaceBook near you.  All this has side-lined my computer, thus causing my long absence. An' it ain't over yet. Thanks again to all who've expressed well wishes. | |

Boy, I don't envy you the upset you had to go through in order to get moved. That would be a nightmare to us. We are long overdue for a building with an elevator because we find it increasingly hard to handle the steps (that's why my occasional references to being semi-shut-ins) but the thought of having to go to a less familiar environment and all the "joys" of having to get ready for moving day have been scaring us off from making that next inevitable move. Glad, it is basically all over for you now. Seeing that you live in an addition to your daughter's house keep your porn collection and make sure that people knock before they come into your den of iniquity.  Somehow our children cannot understand how somehow who has been "OLD" to them all their lives could possibly still have a sex drive now that they are really old. (In their eyes. You and I know that we are only 39 years old on the inside) Most shudder at the thought of parents having or thinking sex! You got company, friend.
