foreign language porn sites As you probably know, it is the policy of PU to not include porn sites that are not in English. I am just curious if any of you, especially those who also speak another language, have ever joined a site not in English. I have and enjoyed it, but cannot review it or post a comment. Should the PU policy be changed? | |

I have to say I didn't know about that policy. If the foreign language site is a reputable one I don't know why PU do not include it, and why you're not allowed to review it. After all, it is more money for them, the more links are clicked. | |

It's a fine idea. The lengendary Ze Droolah (oh, sorry, our pal Drooler) once provided me with a link to a terrific french/french-speaking site only. At the time I did not "dare" to join for more reasons, but mainly: How do I get out of the deal if wanting to cancel - and even if I'm Europe-based, I do not speak well french, so I did not join - simply could not find the way OUT! - at the site. - wanted to join though, so...yes. That would be my biggest fear; how the hell do I get off this crazy thing? Navigation could also be an issue but usually not too bad if it's something in Spainish/French/Italian you can usually figure out the general categories and the like. However, if cancelling is difficult I'd still shy away from it. I can understand PU not listing the sites since they wouldn't really review them and figure out the site facts if the operators don't speak or write English very well. I'm guessing there are directories and review sites in other languages where you could find stuff out about them. My thought would be if you find an interesting nonenglish site would be to post it in a forum thread for the rest of us to find if we want. I don't see much harm in that. | |

Yes, I've made mention a few times around in PU-Land about www.topmiss.com There are no zips, so getting pics is a pain. They have them in a variety of sizes, up to very large (at least 3000px). And it's mostly exclusive stuff, even though when you visit, you'll first see Mia Stone in what was a Viv Thomas photoshoot from some time ago. (Though seeing her show her lovely stuff on that blanket on the grass, well ...) But that date, 19 Juin, is June 19, 2008. The site went "zombie" (my expression for it) then. I haven't been able to join for years now, and there's a good several months of exclusive stuff of darlings like Bambi that I've never gotten my grubby little mitts on. To this day, my chagrin remains. So I guess it would help to 1. tolerate the cherry picking and consequent wrist ruining, 2. have a credit card in Euros, and 3. be able to passably read French, which I can. I was delighted to finally put it to some practical use. ;) Oh, but as for the videos, if there are any, I have no idea because I generally don't like softcore vids. In my version of the porn world, vids are for hardcore and pics are for softcore. I just don't understand why some people don't get that. ;) I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. I have just rejoined Explicite.com and although the navigation is in English. The content is all French. I must say that I enjoy Fench porn. The expressions are sometimes really amazing. Of course since I speak French that is not a problem for me. I don't think it would have the same effect if you do not understand the language. I probably would never join a website that did not include English or in my case French navigation because there would be no way for me to know how to access content and so forth without using a dictionary Long live the Brown Coats. | |

I don't think it would make much sense to join a website if you don't have enough of the language to understand the navigation. There is plenty of material on English sites where the videos are in another language though. This being said, I see no reason not to list any site in any language. If you can't understand the site, then don't sign up. If you do, why not list it? Individual choice, just like we have for all content. | |

For me it has to be English. I can stumble my way around foreign sites and eventually figure out what a few of the words mean. But there is enough porn in English that I do not have a need for the the extra trouble. I only use non-English sites that are pay-per-content. Eg. Browse content, add content to cart, pay X price for content, download content, done. No DRM though, only download to own. Even through most non-English sites are pretty browsable using a translation service (like Google Translate) I would never join a pay-per-month site that is non-English just because of the hassle. | |

I don't have a problem with webmasters, just one's who think that they're going to get people to visit their site by shamelessly promoting their wares here. We take our porn too seriously so don't waste your time by pushing your junk on us. | |

Hi! I am french and I went to foreign porn sites (for me US & UK) because french sites (except those translate in english which are world wide famous like Eplicite-Art) are not fair : the prices are too high for content you can find elsewhere (often in videobox for instance) and/or I met some issues when I would cancel my membership. | |
