It’s good to learn from your mistakes. It’s better to learn from other’s mistakes. Some of you may recall that several sites were de-listed here a while back because the biller bordered on fraudulent. The main site was German Goo Girls and the biller was Centrobill. The complaint was that the cancellation process was just a bot that sent automated messages and the phone number was connected to an answering machine that only allowed a message of less than two seconds. There was an automated way to cancel online but it required an agent to respond, and none ever would. I joined the GGG sister site recently, 666 Bukkake, and it also billed through Centrobill. Yes, I am an idiot. I went to the cancellation page on the second day of my membership and started the process. My membership status went from active to awaiting an agent to cancel it and then back to active again. I kept getting bot replies to emails. I called the toll-free number. It doesn’t work. Even though the GGG sites have been de-listed here they did come up on a Google search and one member here had discovered an alternate email address that worked for him. I tried that and a day later I got a reply saying my membership was cancelled. For those who ever make the same mistake I did, this is the email that generated a response: http://e-support24.com/index.php?page=mobile_startingpage I might not be out of the woods yet though. Other members reported a new charge that would eventually get refunded. So if you’re ever tempted to join a site that bills through Centrobill (German Goo Girls, 666 Bukkake, Stiffia and others) DON’T DO IT. Doing so would be like having sex with a partner you know has an STD. It might seem like it’s worth the risk at the time but then you have to deal with the consequences later. TBP/PU de-listed these sites for a reason. I trust TBP/PU. But I’m still an idiot. | |

Maybe you are and maybe you aren't but there is no arguing that you are a lot smarter now than you were before this happened and you have reinforced the negative comments that were directed at that CC Processor and those sites. I'm pretty sure that others will now look at you and avoid them so your mistake is a bonus for many other people. I once joined the Ferro network of sites for 90$ when I didn't like 95% of the stuff I saw and didn't keep a single one of their videos. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

I'm sorry you had to be the example that is the lesson for the rest of us, but I'm glad you wrote about it. GGG used to be one of my absolute favorite sites, I still have a HUGE soft spot for them and would be very tempted to sign up again if I didn't get reminded every once in a while that they've been turned into a den of thieves. It is sad to see a brand fall to such a low level. Maybe someday a reputable company will buy the rights to their content and even begin producing new GGG content. Too bad I haven't read that or thought twice before subscribing... To complete the picture, the alternate e-mail address won't do the trick for me either and blocking my credit card will probably not suffice since it may result in a default of payment. In brief, where is the rope? | |

Thanks for the warning. Sorry you've had to go through so much trouble thanks to unscrupulous pigs. It makes me thankful as well, once again, that we have PU. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

To op Is the experience same if you signup via Epoch as payment processor? I know this shouldn't have to be done to sign a site but I'm just wondering since the site does offer Epoch (seems to) if everything works then? | |

gvtta, if you suscribe through Epoch, all goes well. Try using "the trick" (filling a wrong termination date for your credit card) that sends you to the secondary processor, Epoch. | |

Hi there, Just found this while looking for information about Centrobill and see if more peolpe had this same issue. I joined GGG and a couple days ago I tried to cancel subscription one day before (25) it renewed (26). After clicking cancel button they offered a deal, but clicked no thanks. Then it said I had to wait for a rep to go through the cancellation and that's that, nothing happened, no cancel confirmation, nothing. Hours passed and no email confirming the cancellation arrived. So, I opened a ticket on e-support24. They send an automated email offering a deal if I decided to stay. Answered no, and never knew more from them. Next day (26) received an email from Centrobill saying that the renewal payment failed and that they would try another time on feb. 2. I normally use a virtual card with the exact amount of money needed for the site subscription I´m interested in, so in a way I was lucky. Now I´m a bit worried. Should I a new virtual card number or is it safe to keep using this same card? Can they do anything against me? In more than 10 years buying porn subscriptions is the first time that I came across a problem like this one. I find it amzing that they being so dishonest with their customers. I wish I found this information before joining... | |

^ I really wish you had found this before joining too. I'm sorry that Centrobill has claimed another victim. I checked the Centrobill site a few months ago after someone from that company was on here and said that our criticism was unfounded and it seemed that they may have created an online cancellation page but I was still skeptical. I'm glad I didn't give them another chance. Actually, while I'm not happy to hear about you being scammed the timing is good for me. There is a new site that I really, really want to join but it only bills through Centrobill. I was tempted to try them again but after hearing your tale I'll avoid the site. The annoying thing is that it is an amateur couple and being affiliated with Centrobill will probably damage them. I don't have any experience with virtual cards so I can't offer you any advice on that. Also, welcome to PU. I hope you hang around. This is a great resource and has some great members. | |

I have started using a virtual visa for sites that either have billers that I don't have experience with or have billers that are questionable in their known practices. I haven't had the situation you had but it's a good question. Did you check your virtual account balance? I had a charge (non-porn) that was a yearly charge on my Paypal account. I had cancelled the service and gotten a new Paypal account. They sent me a letter saying I owed them $64.95 for a pre-approved payment. I would think with your virtual card rejecting payment they (Centrobill) would stop trying but can see the concern. Probably depends how much it costs you to get a new one. I got a new one from GiftCards.com for $5. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I had a Visa card in the past but cancelled it. Now I use a prepaid MasterCard from our national Post company. I always take one month memberships and cancel them a few days before the access expires. When I plan to signup for a membership on a porn websites I go to the post office and just put enough money on my prepaid MasterCard to pay for the access of one month. So far I really didn't have any major issues cancelling a membership. I had a few signups via CentroBill as payment processor but actually everything was neatly cancelled. | |
