Close-ups or full body view I KNOW we've been around this before - but this user feels that this could be one of the most important deals of what site to choose and which to let go...... This thread is inspired by nadiencendias latest comment to 21. Sextury and its network - BUT it's been on my mind for a long time. A lot of PUs have expressed the wish for going easy on those looooong close-ups in vids and that vast amount in sets - and it's still a bad habit for too many sites. Ok, some like close-ups - but those endless scenes/sets get to be repetitive - even with the sweetest pussy... Porn is - in my mind - also/mostly the joy of watching a beautiful girl/woman/model with all that goes with it - the entire body, the face, the hips, legs, tits ect. A long vid close-up of a pussy gets boring in the long run - the same goes for endless amounts of pix of that same close-up deal... So please producers and others: Give us more/longer full body views - at least if you want to keep getting the money from a lot of users.... Hi! I don't normally post in these forums, in fact I think this is my first post, so welcome me! I feel exactly like Denner: my favorite porn scenes consist on full-body shots of the girls (and boys) having sex, with some close-ups mixed in there from time to time. But I just don't get video sets that are 15 minutes of close-ups of a vagina, or of a penis getting inside a vagina. My comment today was originated by a video set in 21st Sextury that consisted, almost exclusively, of close-ups of a girls pussy, with or without a hand touching it. That just doesn't turn me on, or nor for long. In my case there is an additional factor to consider: since I love female feet, I most specially enjoy scenes where the full body of the girl is shown (feet included): directors that focus too much on the genital part of the body don't get my full attention. Anyway, I thought I was the only one who felt this way, since close-ups are so common in porn, but I am glad to see that I am not... Thanks, Denner! | |

The producers have yet to become accustomed to the idea that we have a zoom function now. In the VHS days they needed to manually give us the close up. Now with all the HD stuff out there we can zoom in ourselves and still get a reasonable picture. I am not a close up fan either, but the periodic close up is still nice, as previously mentioned. Too often in close ups we see this nasty, hairy hand coming from no where. This of course ruins any solo scene because now she obviously is not in the room by herself  , go to hell smiley! Perhaps they should look into a camera angle option. Some DVDs had the option to choose with angle you wanted. If they got that to work with a DVD player there is no reason they could not do that on PC videos. Badandy400's comment makes me think of an option that could be offered: Editing your own video. To me, the best hardcore is "belly down flat," so I'll use that as an example. Have one video that's full body (or upper thighs to head) from the side, then another that's the whole thing from the top, and another that's all of the closeups of the action. And, for those who like it, closeups of the girl's face. The editing could be done by the user with favorite software, or the site could even provide software that's downloadable. I know this goes against the traditional concept of intellectual property, but that in turn goes against the now technologically possible concept of customization by the user. You can custom order a car online now. Why not a porn vid? I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

I think you already know where I stand on this matter. I've unloaded on this forum too many times my notions about this same aggravation. It's an undiscipline scene nuisance, which apparently needs some supervising heavyweights to levy some heavy footing on the toes of those morons oblivivous to caring about what we think. | |

I concur with the OP too - on one hand, yes, I do like some explicit content. But - and call me old-fashioned  - I think the sexiest parts of a girl are eyes and smile!So yes, I do like to see girls, er, enjoy themselves, but also to look as if they are enjoying themselves. Granted it's may be acting, but then so is non-porn film and TV. I prefer if my porn includes everyting so that means close ups of genetalia, facial shots, penetration shots as well as full body shots. Most? Naah. Even SimonScans has no more than a "60% close-up, starting to forget what the model's face looked like" rate. At 21st Sextury there are plenty enough of those tight shots of beaver and ass, with or without company to entertain. I spend too much time plucking them out and saving a disk sector, and, by extension, a tree. But there are lots of other POV's. If you've never joined, I'd think you'd be in for some nice surprises. Count me in when it comes to being a full body fan! That's why I also prefer landscape type pictures. I hate videos and picture sets where half of the content shows nothing but close-ups of the genitals. Even in one of my most highly rated sites (AW) it has always bothered me that every picture set contained a series of photos that showed nothing but trunk shots, starting at the waist and going to the upper thighs. I would trade those pictures any time for a full body shot even though I would get less detail. Actually that is not altogether true either, in this age of Ultra High Resolution even a full body shot can be spectacular when lovingly scrolled. | |
