What site(s) would you recommend to a like-minded porn buddy? Let’s say that a long-time friend of yours ‘comes out of the closet’ porn-wise and says he’s a fan and would like to try some pay memberships. For argument sake, let’s say this friend has tastes very similar to your own. Besides telling him to sign up for a Porn Users Account, what sites would you recommend to someone just starting a collection? For me, it’d be these (while reserving the right to add more as I think of them…) • The first would have to be Videobox. I know there are some downsides to VB and I’ve written about a few of my pet peeves too, but when porn buddies look for a place to start this is a must-have. If a person doesn’t have any specific niches of interest that are well outside of the mainstream then someone can build a decent collection with VB. • Up next, considering that this person share my tastes, would have to be Evil Angel. There are two separate sites that don’t seem to share a lot of material and both are available with a TBP discount so for $20 you can get both of them for a month. EA is probably the best studio site out there in that it’s an incredible value and they post their newest stuff quickly. It’s also an amazing site for someone who likes porn with a bit of and edge and especially likes anal. • ALS Scan would have to be on this list. I like their mix of beautiful women, beautiful locations and photo and video shoots that seem like everyone is having fun. Add to that that the site is very good on the technical stuff and the photos and videos are excellent quality. • If I’m recommending ALS Scan I’d also have to mention FTV Girls. Considering my new porn buddy has similar tastes he’ll love the beautiful women and technical perfection, but he’ll really love the great public nudity scenes. • Since my porn buddy clearly likes public nudity I’d recommend Public Flash and Teasers VOD too. I’m not sure if PF is still updating, but the collection is large enough to merit at least a month there. • Other than those, I’d recommend rounding out the niche collection by joining as many Kink.com sites as fits his interests. I’ve been a member of many of their sites multiple times and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend any of them. This is true BDSM and not the male-centred stuff where the guys degrade the woman for their own pleasure. I’ve never found BDSM-themed sites that are in the same league as anything by Kink. ^I think a Videobox membership is a must for anyone just starting on the net because it's next to impossible to not find a couple of gems. The searching is likely to be a huge pain because of the size of the library but that's part of the fun. I like the Evil Angel idea and think that the guy should stick with the website and not buy the special videobox deal. You get more for your money by going direct. I've never tried ALS Scan, Public Flash or Teasers VOD so I won't comment. I really didn't like FTV so I couldn't recommend the site to anyone with taste like mine but the site is great if you like their type of porn. Now let me add some to the list of must join sites. Teen mega World: A 20$ membership gets you some amazing primarily hardcore European porn with gorgeous models. 21sextury: See the above comment in regards to TMW. The main difference is that TMW has a percentage of leased content while 21sextury is all exclusif. Brazzer: This is the only US site where I've remained a long term member. Yes, they have too many models with implants. Yes, they shoot the same formulatic porn over and over. They are still the only US site that hires the best US performers and they get them to do more hardcore stuff than anywhere else. I think a one time visit to Reality Kings, Bangs bros and naughty America is a must. Each of these sites has a few key scenes that make a one time mebership worth it. Porn Fidelity. This site updates once a week so a one time visit is all you need but I find that there is always some amazing chemistry between the female performer and the male performer and that transaltes to some great porn. Blacks on Blondes: This is an excellent interracial porn site and your membership gets you access to a dozen other sites with a similar theme. Met-art is the number one site I would recommend. You can't beat it for teen softcore, in terms of content size and value. Teen Mega World for teen hardcore videos. Again, massive content and low price. There are many other good sites out there, but those are the two leaders for softcore pix and hardcore videos. | |

X-Art as a nice easy starting point, it is the softer of the hard porn has pictures and video . Solo and hard and even some stripping. FigureBaby & TorridArt for starters.  After the first half dozen sites though, I would be struggling!  Edit: Actually thinking about it further, on the strength of the recent updates, I wouldn't even recommend Figurebaby.  Further to this, the original photographer has moved on to be replaced by a mainstream photographer. Strike the Figurebaby recommendation entirely.  Cap'n. If s/he we're a true friend you'd should refer them to some completely lame-ass site with dogsh*t level quality that hasn't had a single update this millenia so that they would end up so pissed off at porn that they'd give it up and just take you out and buy you drinks with their extra money instead. This way you'd both benefit but only one of you would be screwed ... in reality not sure who's worse off; your buddy for being nice to your while you secretely scammed them out of a lot of on-line hotties or you for being the self interested porn perv who is trying to save a buddy from a long term time and money habit. I tend to like a lot of different kinds of porn and yet I'm finding that I like less and less what most producers are putting out. Some could say that I'm oversaturated and need to stay away and that could be part of it but it's only a very small part because I still love the stuff they did a decade or more ago. I just think that most producers of porn have mastered the technological aspect in regards to filming porn but they have lost the ability to shoot quality porn. I appreciate the fact that most of todays porn is well lighted and the camera are of higher quality because I'm a guy who started watching porn made in the 70's. The problem is that most of todays guys don't know how to produce quality porn and the camera guy doesn't know how to use that great camera so we get medicore porn with all the same camera angles and zooming in to the action instead of paning and showing the actual performers. I suppose it depends on how "very similar" his tastes are to my own. If he is interested almost or entirely in solo girl photos rather than video, I would first have to recommend what has always been my "gold standard", which is ATK Galleria, for its huge collection of softcore photos of girls who enjoy what they do and without a concentration on toys. It is a similar size to MET ART in terms of number of models though Galleria has twice the number of photos as MET ART. Next, I would suggest Karups, probably Karupspc first and then Karupsha or Karupsow if they enjoyed Karupspc. All the Karups sites have some very hot photography. However, I would recommend MET ART too and Femjoy, both of which have some beautiful photos. For UK women, and we do have some real hotties over here, I think he just has to try Suburban Amateurs. There is some wonderful photography on that site and some seriously hot women. And another source of hot UK women is Vintage Flash with its associated VFA Academy and Pantyhose4you. Photos could do with being bigger but they may well have increased the size since I was last a member. Nubiles has some good photos but its obsession with toys and shifting of the balance towards video has made it much less attractive to me. Many girls have no more than one photoset worth collecting, even when I like the girl, because of the toy thing spoiling the view. That is why I could not fully recommend ALS Scan either. I have joined ALS Scan a few times but I find its endless photos of girls grinning while stuffing cucumbers in their pussies are not sexually exciting, just daft. But it would be a great site to recommend to someone who says that porn involves forcing girls to do things they do not like. The ALS Scan girls obviously have a whale of a time. I just do not find their stuff sexy, with a few exceptions which make it still worth joining for someone who has never been there. I have been a member of Torrid Art, European Glamour Girls and Erotic Destinations. The latter only once since I am not keen on outdoor shoots. However, Martin Krake, who runs European Glamour Girls and Erotic Destinations, is, IMO, one of the most accomplished outdoor erotic photographers ever. He manages to understand and use outdoor lighting to great effect, a skill which few photographers display in their outdoor shoots. His outdoor shoots of Anetta Keys are truly beautiful. I find the DDF network and PixandVideo to be too video based and too toy obsessed. I joined PixandVideo mainly to get their excellent photos of Mia Stone. DDF photos are almost all a rehearsal for their videos. But it is one of very few places that have video I have actually enjoyed. Dominno was the reason I signed up and she does not disappoint. Looking down my list of sites I have joined, I think there are about 30 or so that I have not mentioned. But I think I have named the ones I regard as the strongest. I have tried this with varying success. Though I don't know how much I could say the person had the same taste as me. For one, the person is a recently divorced female. She shows strong interest in bisexual women, said she liked the softer style and exhibitionism. My first idea was FTV. It covers all the bases. She ended up only liking the exhibitionism scenes. I totally agree. The producers has also lost that sense of erotic stimulation you used to see in the older movies. The sex was hardcore, (even anal) but it was slow enough to see it and it had more of a "feel" like they were enjoying it. I really liked the 55m look as well. The only problem is the scenes are too short in the Classics. The women in the Classics were amazing though. Innocent but Dirty. Cant find anything like that now. | |
