Midcore or Heartcore sites, the complete list of them Still don't know what is the best name for these type of sites, heartcore I heard someone call them which I really liked. What is the strict definition of "heartcore"? By looking at the examples in the original post I'm guessing it is mostly a gentler and more romantic variant porn that features explicit, penetrative sex. That is I guessed that until I noticed Porn Pros Network listed, which is so Gonzo that they use fake penis to practically drown the models in semen - not to mention the five network sites dedicated to bondage and/or dominance. As much as it surprised me, it will you too, Porn Pros has gone artsy. They still have some of the lewdness, goofiness of past years, but most of the new scenes are heavy on the darker lighting, white linens, softer hardcore. Strange, I just looked through their recent updates - and you are right they do seem to be trying to go a bit tamer. However I'd put their current content (as far as visible in their previews) as more along the lines of most of Brazzers' content (Porn Pros used to be more extreme, like Bang Bros), which I'd say is a far cry from the artsy, romantic stuff being churned out of the other sites listed. I was under the impression that midcore was in reference to "harder" softcore (solo masturbation, toys, harder lez), I had never heard it used in reference to guy/girl porn, which I think heartcore includes - as it is softer hardcore. Hi Toadsith Yeah I was certainly unsure about adding this one to the list and very nearly didn't bother but heard it mention when people talked about sites like this and thought when I first looked, no way is this arty with the fake huge pens and fake jizz gun squirting. But then I saw they also do these arty style movies a little like Elegant Angel so figured I should include it cause it did look much more softer and not the gonzo style. I'm not sure about the inclusion of most of Elegant Angel's DVDs in the list. If it's for the shooting style, certainly Elegant Angel and X-Art.com could fall into the same genre of softer tones, white linen productions but Elegant Angel's content is quite varied and there are blow bangs, rough sex and lots of anal. Well, I think we had defined softcore as anything up to & including full frontal nudity, but without any gyno & toys. Hardcore starts with sexual interaction between 2 or more folk. I think it makes fine sense. Heartcore would be artsy hardcore or "couples" hardcore, if you prefer. Whereas midcore would be all the solo/lez stuff that involves penetration.
