What was the very "First" porno you ever saw?

What was the very "First" porno you ever saw (And know the name of/can remember.

And how did this movie shape your future viewing habits?

My Answers.

1) I had seen a lot of generic "White Box VHS" porn. Young people today may not remember Sam's Club selling tons of this stuff but it is the stuff of my childhood. These movies were my Grandfathers private collection (Before Viagra) and I would stay up late at night as a wee lad and watch one all giddy and excited.

The he made a amazing purchase. This movie had a plot, beautiful women, lusty sweaty sex, lingerie and the opening credits even had a musical number! I was mind blown. The movie was called "The Young like it Hot" and I should have been mind blown it is a masterpiece that still is hot today. It stars Hyapatia Lee, Kay Parker and a young beautiful Shauna Grant. But it opens with Linda Shaw and Herschel Savage going at it like you would NEVER believe. The male talent was equally impressive featuring Joey Silvera, Mike Horner and Ray Wells just to name a few. This was a time when the male and female talent were equally important to a successful movie. This movie has an astounding 13 scenes!

2) It was a long time after this movie before I grew up and was allowed (It was never allowed in my parents house) to start my own collection. But this was the very first movie I purchased from Excaliburfilms.com. It had a huge impact on my future taste. I could not stand most of the gonzo being created at the time (Exceptions Homegrown Videos, and Up and Cummers). But Vivid and Wicked were just getting started and I enjoyed it all. This was still the heyday of VCA and Legend videos and for years I preferred big budget plot based movies.

Thank you for reading this thread and I look forward to your own beginner stories I am sure they will be fabulous! 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

My first interest was in Playboy. One of my fellow high school students brought an issue to school in 1964 and it got me interested. A few years later I moved on to Penthouse as it was more explicit.

For the next ten years or so that was it. Eventually we had the golden age of porn in the 1970's and I saw both Deepthroat and The Devil in Miss Jones in the movie theater. I loved them both, but home videos were not possible without VHS players in the early 1980's.

That is so interesting. I was also exposed to Playboy (Did not like it), Hustler (Loved it) and a now defunct magazine called Oui (My favorite of all). I think a lot of people would be surprised to find out that indeed Triple X feature movies were shown across America before the crackdown by the Regan Administration trying to prove a link between porn and violent crime (A belief thoroughly debunked by Japan).

One of the best movies I ever saw (Midnight cowboy) was rated X ... wow, really lol. It stands as the only X rated movie to ever receive an Academy Award. Not that it matters the Academy is a joke how else do you explain Leo Decaprio having no trophies for his fireplace =).

Thank you for sharing buddy.

Did your experience make you like Photos more than movies?

I prefer movies to photos. My tastes have evolved, although I still like photos. My favorite? Probably Alice in Wonderland.
It is so softcore!

This whole post takes me back. It doesn't get much better than Kay Parker. The original MILF!

I used to religiously read the pornstar profiles at ExcaliburFilms back in the late 90s. I would also order movies from there and request concealed packaging, so the 4-hour compilation tapes I bought would have have packaging and labelling like, "Animal Bloopers"...which of course would look even weirder when hidden in the bottom drawer of a dresser.

The first porn I watched from start to finish was Cynthia And the Pocket Rocket, a porn spoof of The Hudsucker Proxy.

Yea Excaliburfilms was amazing. I shopped their exclusively until Adultdvdempire came along. Kay Parker when I look at her I do not even think MILF I think what a gloriously beautiful woman. I am attracted to women who look like grown women with curves and a passion for the industry. I never understood the teen thing until Aurora Snow came along, then not again until Riley Reid. It seems few and far between get my interest. Now Belladonna (Before all the tattoos) and Asa Akira there is something magical about their muscular flexible bodies lol. Man that is totally my bag =).

The first I ever saw were some nudes in my parents' art photography books.

Then, as a kid playing Duke Nukem 3D in 1996, I remember figuring out that you could tip the strippers cash to show their tits. Then I discovered internet porn on AOL and it was all over! Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off.

Emmanuelle series on TV on Skinemax. Soft porn, but it was great when it was all you had seen. I found this on our late night TV package way back in the 90's. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off. Edited on Aug 20, 2015, 01:26pm

Oh my gosh yes. I will be honest with you Lpee23 I LOVE softcore sex. Emmanuelle was amazing so was the Story of O. I wish there was a adult website that specialized in Softcore sex. I think this is why heartcore has become so popular lately people really want this kind of thing. Thank you for sharing!

Deep Throat is not the first film I saw but it is the first title I remember.

I was a student at a Catholic elementary school and once or twice a year a fund raising paper drive was held. Newspaper and magazines were collected for recycling. Magazines were kept separate because of the clay content of the glossy coated stock. We students worked separating the two. The older boys, having developed an appreciation for lady parts, gravitated towards the magazine section. As a second grader, I didn’t quite grasp the reason for this, but it became clearer as I advanced to the sixth and seventh grades. Playboy mags were the bulk of that which we found interesting, with a sprinkling of other publications, all of them softcore. Penthouse, Hustler and Oui had yet to appear.

When I was sixteen, the manager of the local pool hall, an older ex-jazz musician, Buddy, Invited several of us to his place to smoke some pot.
He broke out a projector and screened some erotica. All the women were naked except for high heels and sunglasses. I now had a new hobby.

When I was twenty-one another older friend, Bud, invited four of us to his place to watch his films. Bud lived in a mobile home park. He hung a bed sheet over the front window and screened several loops. We became aware of some commotion in the street in front. About twenty-five of his neighbors were gathered in the street watching the show on the back-projected bed sheet. I then went home and ravaged my girlfriend.

Titles and the names of actors mattered not.

The President’s Commission on Pornography completed a three year study and published it’s results. I think it sold two or three copies.

Someone thought to illustrate the report. My friend Bud now owned a smoke shop, selling tobacco products and magazines, with a large rack of skin mags with every manor of fetish, but still softcore.
He now spent most of his time assisting the men who were lined up to purchase the Illustrated President’s Report at $25 a pop in a plain white wrapping. In a town of forty thousand, he sold fifteen thousand copies. It was the first hardcore sold openly.

Soon, porn movies became legal and many theaters were opened and pornstars developed fan bases. Deep Throat, Behind the Green Door and several others.
Linda Lovelace, Marilyn Chambers, Vanessa del Rio, Candy Samples, Seka, Amber Lynn, Annette Haven, Georgina Spelvin, were just a few.
My favorites, Serena, Merle Michaels, Christy Canyon, Ginger Lynn, Nina Hartley Ashlyn Gere, Sharon Mitchell, Victoria Paris, Debi Diamond, Kristarah Knight.

No one cared about the guy’s names. They were just stunt dicks.

Bud made several buying trips to Europe bringing back massive quantities of porn for evaluation. I headed a three man evaluation team. Yes it was hard work but someone had to do it.
Bud’s Smoke Shop became Porn Central for a four county area in Northern California unless life also gives you water and sugar, your lemonade is gonna suck. Edited on Aug 22, 2015, 02:35pm

Wow that is an amazing story! Loved it. Thank you for sharing. Ginger Lynn is still one of my favorite performers ever. The older porn is usually so much better. There's no way I would know the name of the first hundred or so. My older cousins and uncles had the old VHS tapes that said, "Super Bowl" or "Wrestlemania" on the labels, then you popped them in and saw some man's hairy butt pounding into a woman. I was a collector of Hustler magazines for several years. Loved the rush of walking into a store and having to ask for it. I do remember watching Emmanuelle on cable and do remember the first porn I remember the name of it was Habits of the Heart and had future Vivid superstar Raylene in it, very early in her career. But I had been watching porn VHS tapes for several years before that one. My first time I jacked off, I thought I'd invented it. I looked down at my sloppy handful of junk and thought, This is going to make me rich. - Chuck Palahniuk

Exotics4me that story brought back memories. The funny thing is I did not like Raylene when she was with Vivid. But after she recently joined brazzers I got every scene she made there. Why? Because she starred in a documentary called "After porn ends". I love documentaries on porn. Then collecting their material when they un-retire and do even more desperate things for money lol.

I remember walking into my local video store. Then noticing the people at the counter were girls. I spent a hour browsing movies I could not care about then slinked into the forbidden zone. Putting "Jouranal Park" on the counter was one of the hardest things I ever did. In hindsight I should have picked "Kelly the Coed". I am glad porn is so much easier to access now.

Thank you for your story. 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Drooler I did not get a chance to see that movie. A lot of people love John Holmes but I was always a Ron Jeremy/Joey Silvera and Randy Spears fan. Annette Haven was a beauty.

I saw it at a theatre. Of course, it made me horny to see such a beautiful woman having sex, so from then on, my tastes have been focused accordingly.

It would have been OK if a different actor was there on the screen. I've never really paid much attention to them. Typical. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

9 to 5 days in porn.
Aroused.
Pornucopia.
The dark side of porn.
The girl next door (Stacy Valentine)
Rated X a journey through porn

But the BEST one of all is.
After Porn Ends.
Featuring. Asia Carrera, Nina Hartley, Mary Carey, Houston, Crissy Moran, Randy West, Richard Pacheco, John Leslie, Amber Lynn, Seka, Raylene, Luke Ford, Bill Margold, Shelley Lubben and Tiffany Million.

What makes this one special is after it was filmed. Raylene went to Brazzers and did some of the dirtiest porn ever. Including Anal and Dp's. Man these are so hot and depraved lol. 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Hmm.. some vhs I secretely watched that I had found from my family members stash. I remember that it was a very evening setting in the movie/scene and that it looked liked a set from bold and beatiful or something :D

What I can say about the finding now, is that It would have been better had I not seen porn when I was that young..

First scene I "willingly" ever saw.. Maybe either some famous Jenna Jameson, Belladonna or Vanda Vitus scene. Fast forward few years and then I bought my first adult dvd which was Born For Porn done by Colossal Entertainment.

Does anybody but me notice a pun lurking in the above phase "religiously read the pornstar" --- I think all will agree they're collectively the actual antitheist of one another. ?
The adverb "religiously"
Modifies the verb "read" --- all of which was going along fine until the word "porn" crashed the party.

My answer below is to the thread inquiry .....

I'm afraid in my case it goes back so far the word "porn" had yet to even have been introduced into this country's vernacular. I only knew if a visual depicting ladies in varying degrees of undress we simply called them dirty pictures.
Still a youngster not yet out of wearing the hated boyhood knee-pants, I knew upon experiencing this strange new sensation growing in the feel-good regions of my body that something extraordinary would follow.
It did ........ but in the meantime I would feed upon visual delights, such as overdosing on the erotically pictured covers of Detective Magazines.
All of which helped precipitate my first orgasmic release.

First years of school now brings back recall of a few of my favorite things. Topping the list was at recess, wherein a mad rush was imminent by the boys for possession of the only schoolyard swing set ..... made of industrial strength metal and grounded for unlimited weight, the popularity wasn't getting a seat, but use of the bars, upon which the fun lay in climbing up and down on them.
It wasn't until I was lucky enough to finally get hold of one did I discover reason.
This day as recess ended ......found me perched half way up the pole, on which my legs were tightly wrapped, sliding up and down, head tilted back, a monkey-like smile cemented on my face ..... clearly oblivious of my surroundings, unmovable, and ultimately requiring the school principle to finally come out and coach me down.
Thus, The aftermath ushered in a practice that dwells happily to this day. Edited on Nov 11, 2015, 05:17am

Now that is a great story! I always wondered about detective novel covers. I think it was some people's first contact with misogyny and BDSM. A picture is sometimes worth a thousand words yes. Well I do not know for sure but hopefully you were not brought up in a religion like me where they considered self pleasure a sin. Which is it not. I have often thought laying sexual guilt on people has caused more murder, torture and pain than anything else mankind can do to its children. 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Sir, If you only knew. I was indeed bought up in the epitome of mercilessly, oppressive, overweening religious shortsightedness that defies practical thinking.
I'm not a preacher, but for the long, long haul having lived under the shredded umbrella of the strictest, self-aggrandized father , whose one-note commanding authority , begs the mortal question: is this truly the way one should live? Or ......heaven forbid raise a child.

With what I've learned just being observent of Bible-thumpers, might keep you in sermons for another 20 yrs. (amen)

The first porn video I saw was probably pirated and I don’t think the credits were there so I never knew the name of it. It was from the mid-80s though. I remember one scene and maybe someone here also remembers it and can give me a title. The scene was a boy/girl (both with big 80s hair) and she was trying to teach him to dance sexily. It could be that he was a male stripper. He was wearing only a g-string. He’s doing badly so she steps forward and cups his balls and tells him to move like he was fucking somebody. She continues that and then leans in and softly says “…like you were fucking me.” Then she drops to her knees and they’re off and fucking. If anyone knows this scene please let me know.

Very early in my porn viewing days I also got a copy of Skintight from 1981. I don’t remember much about that one.

The first scene that I remember seeing where I can identify the title and stars is Candy’s Little Sister Sugar from 1988. I recall I was at a stag party and someone had sourced some porn, which was still illegal in my hometown at the time.

I remember a scene with Lauryl Canyon and John Leslie and at one point John is sitting on a couch while Lauryl rides him in reverse cowgirl. Lauryl had some pretty bad implants (are there ever good implants?) but she looked incredible riding John in that position. To this day that scene sticks with me. I managed to get a digital copy somewhere, likely Videobox, and even though that scene is low resolution there is no way I’ll ever delete it. Because of this scene Lauryl Canyon became the first porn star that I started to actively look for her stuff.

It will be unlikely that I'll disagree with you much, but I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. Hot Girls Wanted was such a biased hatchet job that it isn't worth watching in my opinion. It pisses me off when documentary directors don't treat a topic objectively. Both the left and right are guilty of this sin.

Given the director's lack of objectivity if she's looking for work I'm sure she could get a job here in Canada with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). This kind of subjectivity is their hallmark.

The first porn I saw was a Playboy my friend found in his brothers hiding place. If you consider 1950's Playboy, porn.

When I came of age to by my own, Penthouse had appeared and that became my prime porn for years. Eventually VHS then DVD and now internet.

Penthouse influenced the kind of porn I prefer. The gorgeous ladies and exotic costumes and set designs. Warning Will Robinson

And the scene in porky's where she howls like a wolf oh my gosh lol.

I agree with you on that Readadmiral. Biased reporting has haunted us for years. I wont go into detail because it is so controversial but our history books for ww1 and ww2 are rife with lies and propoganda. 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Both the left and right are guilty of this sin.

Given the director's lack of objectivity if she's looking for work I'm sure she could get a job here in Canada with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). This kind of subjectivity is their hallmark.

The movie certainly has its flaws. And I felt the whole "this is our culture" montage at various points (mostly in the beginning) felt shoehorend in. It's like, I get it, people don't like the Kardashians, and our culture has certainly accepted sex/porn more than years' past, but men and women have been taking money to suck and fuck on screen for decades and if it was as easy to get an attractive woman to land on a porn set in 1985 as it is in 2015 then I'm sure there would've been more performers in that decade.

What I like about the doc is how it presents a bit of the business side of porn from the performers perspective. The truth is there ARE 1000's of women getting in the game and if you have a pretty face, or a marketable angle, like big tits or a perky ass, or a defined "look" (girl next door, bad girl, nerd, etc), you are almost guaranteed to get a few shoots under your belt. And I'm sure the money is great, especially if you're young and unaccustomed to getting $1,500 checks for a single day of work.

But the performers that survive, let alone thrive, in the industry are those that do all of the little things that quite frankly most performers don't want or even think to do, either due to ignorance of the mechanics of the industry or poor counseling from management. In short, you have to hustle your ass off.

The new paradigm of porn demands performers do way more than just show up on set and perform. They have to be active on social media, shape their on-screen/online personas, be aggressive self-promoters and learn exactly whom their fans are and what it is they like about them. I think a lot of women get into porn or camming because it looks like easy money and for the short term it possibly is, but certainly not for long.

Savannah (RIP) didn't have to maintain Twitter and Instagram feeds, constantly take selfies and have direct engagement with her fans (who she may or may not be doing private Skype/Escort gigs), so seeing how 21st century pornstars work, even on the rookie level, was very fascinating. Just like everything else in life porn is about who you know. It is a business and as a business there are ways to get ahead. For example. If a model starts stripping (No tattoos, no sex with clients, no drugs, no pimp) she can find the right people to give her a career.

Powerful men want virginal but exotic women. It has always been this way. The problem with Ava Taylor is she gave that azz away to everyone. She did not handle her career properly. If she had gotten in good with the people from Wicked, Digital Playground or Vivid she could have had a 20+ year career only doing 10 shoots a year making 100k a year.

But instead she got sucked in and turned out as one of the faceless thousands do every year. As one of the faceless thousands it is VERY hard and VERY exceptional to have a long lasting career. You can almost name these actresses on one hand and most of them guess what, worked for Vivid, Wicked or Digital Playground at some point.

When a special girl comes along (Savannah, Sunny Lane) the danger is that they get involved with the wrong crowds. That they want too much to fast and do not take the reasonable approach. So they start making hundreds of videos and saturate the market with their material. Pretty soon supply meets demand and the phone calls they used to get every day dry up. Then they get desperate and start working in cheaper and unhealthy productions. Eventually turning to prostitution to earn a easy buck.

But it does not have to be this way. At least not for the special exceptional ones. The ladies who are dead fish and just look good are a dime a dozen. But the Nikita Denises could have had so much better of careers if they had played their cards right. Hot Girls wanted should have been called "The story of one dumb desperate ho". She made friends with a nobody who used her for profit then discarded her when she was not hot stuff anymore. This should be a lesson to ALL aspiring porn stars. Being a porn star is just like every other job. You have to network, you have to be political and you got to know who holds the real power and get in good with them. Isn't it better to blow one middle aged man and get 100K a year for 10 scenes rather than blowing half of Los Angeles and then being retired? Just my two cents on this whole conversation. I have a lot of respect for women but I respect them the way THEY want to be respected. Some want to be treated like a queen others like a degenerate. Hey what every gets you off lol. Am I right =). 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; Edited on Nov 21, 2015, 06:43am

Have no idea the name, or pretty much anyone in it, but the only scene I remember is Ron Jeremy pretending to masturbate whilst drinking a margarita or something and then pretending his drink was ejaculate and spritzing it on some woman (who got liquor in her eye and ran to the bathroom.

I was tempted to look up what movie this was at some point a while ago, I suspect perhaps some weird behind the scenes crap (my roommate was an odd man), but I am sort of concerned it was an alcohol or drug induced hallucination so I kind of don't want to know, cause it was just so fucking weird, and yet it is stuck in my memory like a thorn. Bunny Lebowski: I'll suck your cock for a thousand dollars.
Brandt: Ah hahahahaha! Wonderful woman. We're all, we're all very fond of her. Very free-spirited.

I don't remember the name, but it was at a Pussycat Cinema on the east coast. I was probably about 19 and went at the invitation of a friend who had gone and was thrilled by the experience. I was definitely hooked, though I didn't go that often at that time. My favorite part was probably the previews - I remember really looking forward to the upcoming showings of "Babyface" - the original by Alex DeRezny. Then when we went to that the print messed up during Terri Hall's scene, which was really frustrating as Terri was just my type - brunette babe with a tight tiny bod. She had much better scenes than she did in that film, but I loved seeing her anyway.

I have no idea who was in it (2 girls, one guy), but the dude was wearing verrrry short jean shorts and he was sporting lots of pubic hair. A blonde was giving him head outside while a redhead looked on. Gotta love '70s porn.

The very first porn movie I ever saw was as a teenage university student in a shared house, one of the older guys had a porno tape which involved priests having sex with women. It was okay I thought at the time but it didn't shape my viewing habits - that came much later when I bought a Dell PC with a DVD-ROM drive and 4.1 surround sound. A work colleague at the time had purchased a couple of Sunshine Studios porno DVDs that arrived in plain white cases and mentioned them to me, said I could borrow them when my PC was delivered. The first one I watched was Asian Hotties and the opening scene was an Asian girl in dark stockings sucking and fucking in various positions - that was it for me, I realised I love women in stockings, not suspenders but the hold-up upper thigh-high type, so my porn taste has been for that ever since.
As reflected in my avatar

Thanks for sharing Slutty. Yeah I always liked the behind the scenes stuff because you could see what people were really like. Which is why Randy Spears was one of my favorites of all time. 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Thanks for sharing PinkPanter. Yea in the golden age of porn they really knew how to do movie trailers. The movies were real movies which is rare these days. But I think getting better now they we are on the downside of the age of gonzo. 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Thanks for sharing Amanda. Could have been Tom Byron, TT boy or Marc Wallace. Thank you for sharing Pinkerton. I agree. I remember when sunshine studios was one of the only ones that did it like that. I had a few from them but they were terrible quality really. Took me a while to find the good stuff. As for women dressed nice. I still like that today. I think one of the first series I ever saw was called Filthy Fuckers and man did it shape my porn taste lol. 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Thanks Pyrenees! I haven't come across it in my many years of porn reviewing. Now that I have those names... Let's see see if I can find it.

Excluding a couple of nameless 8mm stag films, the first porn flick I ever saw was Deep Throat. It was a copy of a copy of a copy (or something like that) on, of all things, a reel-to-reel video tape recorder. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I agree with your larger points. Look at someone like a Riley Reid, who has shaped her own persona (which is probably very, VERY close to who she actually is), has good management and will seemingly have a long career if she so chooses. I've been watching the slow rollout this year over her first interracial scene and her first anal scene you can tell that these were deliberate decisions that were held off for YEARS. In the hands of wrong management, or short sighted thinking (or both), she would've been doing interracial gangbangs six months into her career.

Then again, to make a sports analogy, there are only a handful of great/marketable NBA/NFL/MLB players. They're the ones that drive the revenue and bring people to the games. The rest are role players and roster fillers. Porn is no different, in my opinion. Listen to Buried At Sea.

I'm definitely a fan of Riley. I hope she has a long career too, and her few pee scenes have definitely been memorable for me! Her scenes for femdomempire.com were amazing.

I also happen to have a very rare clip of Riley peeing for Brazzers. It's a copy of a promotional video that I saved because of her pee scene. Oddly enough, I don't think the footage ever made it into an actual scene, but luckily when I saw her peeing in the promo clip I saved it. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off.
