I read this last night and was shocked. Back in her heyday Amber was in my top-10 list and probably in my top-5 even. I loved the attitude she brought to her scenes. She seemed so down-to-earth and yet had was a sexual dynamo too. She deserved a long life of success and I'm saddened that she didn't have that.

I'll wait for more news, if it comes, but the comment of a possible overdose is troubling as Amber seemed so level-headed and in control of herself.

RIP Amber.

I was shocked and saddened when I read this news. She always looked like a well grounded and amazing person. She never gave one bad scene and she had good acting talent.

My prayers are with her family and friends. Long live the Brown Coats.

RIP Amber Rayne. More than a porn model, she was a real Porn Star.

Also, I've got some questions about that article. While there were some rumors of OD, the real story seems to be that she died of cancer.

"Though authorities are waiting on the results of an autopsy and toxicology report, L.A.'s assistant chief coroner Ed Winter told the Daily Mail that "a friend reported that she had died from a 'possible overdose.'"

If that is a real quote, then this assistant coroner may be in trouble for violating confidentiality. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off.

She was a former porn star.
So she deserves to have her name smeared by rumors.

At least, that's the way God-fearing righteous people might think.

I remember hearing back in the 1980s that AIDS was God's way of punishing people for their sins.

The percentage of Americans who believe that has been dropping, as tolerance for gays increased in recent years.

But there is still a heavy stigma for porn performers, and that's probably why the overdose rumor was reported.

People can be cruel. And self-righteous.

That wasn't right of him to say. His job is about facts, not rumors.

Rest in peace Amber. Warning Will Robinson
