Webmaster Rankings? Hi Guys. I was just reviewing the webmaster rankings. I did a little research and didn't find any webmaster ranked higher than me. Is there any other webmaster that is more active on PornUsers than I am? | |

I really am not sure why webmasters do not spend a little more time here. There is great potential to build customer trust beyond simply what comes from good content. It is comforting for many people to see that the people they are sending their money to actually exist and can be called upon to help them if needed. There is also great opportunity to get feedback from the users you know are spending money. We all know there is a difference between someone saying "I want this" and someone say "I want to pay to get this." And you will find the latter here. We are paying customers, and some of us are hopelessly paying addicts(This should read: $ $ $). Many people pay loads of money to advertise there stuff but posting here is free. You do not even have to say much about your site, in fact that would get annoying. But if you are actively talking to us about many of the other topics we discuss here we will eventually click your name to see who you are and possibly check out your site(s). And there you have it. You advertised and built trust without being annoying or paying. Spamming and talking are two different things. There is reason for anyone to cry spam if you are not frequently trying to sell your site. Us users really do want to hear from you guys. We usually jump at the idea of giving webmasters suggestion when they ask for them. The staff here have put together a little porn community that has attracted a small group of the internet porn views eliet. Throw ideas at us and see what we think, give us your take on political issues, or just BS about a recent baseball game. Dont worry, if you say something bad we will yell at you and send you to your room but we will not boycot your site. Webmasters are people too. Riffy is definitely a valued contributor here. As for a signature line leading to his site, I have no problem with that. One expects that from webmasters and that's cool by me. Shap is also good at giving feedback to his site and I'm glad he's discovered the forum here. As BadAndy has said, as me before, we welcome webmaster/siteowners participating here. Use us, the pervie porn junkies, to bounce ideas off of instead of groping blindly in the dark. You may catch some shit when talking about your site but we're all better off for it. As for the other mindless posts around here, feel free to chime in. As for webmaster rankings, what's the point of it? Bragging rights at the next convention? Last against the wall when the revolution comes? Congrats to Shap for being numero uno ... and may other site owners learn proper forum etiquette from Shap and Riffy :) | |

One reason why so few webmasters come in for discussions is, I think, that they're just too busy. They have a business to keep going in a very competitive market -- now during an huge economic downturn. If the "webmaster" really means the manager of the site, and sometimes it does, then there are all kinds of things and people to deal with. Plus they have their own forums on some sites. It adds up to a a lot day-to-day. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |
