Decline of Porn I have been member of various porn sites more than 15 years now. And this is the first time i see a clear declining trend. Centralization of power in couple companies finally taking its toll. Updates are either slow or not happening. Most sites are recycling content and their new content is rushed and boring. Very few independent sites are still trying to be creative with content but i am losing hope. What do you all old timers like me think? | |

Only-Fan is definitely a challenge to sites. Lots of talent making money on their own, not needing or wanting to work for someone else. But there are certainly a lot of sites still producing content consistently post-covid. Porn's always gone in a cycle and you have to work harder now to find new hot girls, since anyone who is smart and established talent is mainly going to Only-Fans route. | |

Well I must be more of an old timer then as been member of sites 25 years now and into mags and videos before that, blimey where has time gone. I'd say the best era for me was 2005-2010 with online porn then, it was amazing and so many good sites were producing good quality porn with gorgeous models I thought, lots of my fav stuff is from this era, sadly the image and video quality not what you get today but creative and passionate porn never the less. I think it did decline 2016 time for me and seeing less women I found as attractive with more girls with tattoos and heavy glam makeup, then sites started to battle the people getting porn for free off downloading sites and tube sites by making streaming only sites, then thre is the only-fans as pinkpanther says coming into play more and lots of the gorgeous models stopped doing mainstream porn work as much and did their own productions on these manyvids and onlyfan sites and also for high price video sites too. Then they also started making downloads a premium extra price, then lots of sites started using unscrupulous billers that made customers weary of signing up. All this has taken its toll on the porn industry and its decline for sure and covid did it no favours that's for sure. That said there are still sites doing good porn and occasionally stars still doing mainstream stuff also as well as onlyfans route so there is hope we will still hold on to some decent sites as the decent ones have less competition. Alissa Foxy, Stacy Cruz, Evelin Elle, Dakota Tyler, Olivia Madison and Stella Sedona have given me hope recently that models I like are still making porn so I still hope to see more good stuff in 2023. I don't know how Only fans says so profitable for these people, they take 40% of all their sales. I guess it's because they own/control the content. Much to be said for creative control too. Plus the choice of who to work with, the shit going on behind the scenes with people lying about tests and new strains of stds going around. I also have to add that most of here are members of the old guard that are willing to actually pay for their smut lol. This new generation hates to pay for anything. I once came on to a clips4sale studio and every scene description was deleted and replaced with "fuck you porn is free". These studios are just hit so hard with piracy, they release a scene and within literally hours it's all over the bootleg sites. #payforyourporn!
