Question about billing and Address info Hi- I am new here. I am thinking about joining Twisty's, but they want my mailing address. Why do they want my mailing address? I don't want to receive any mail from them... any replies very appreciated! Thanks! Have a good one. | |

Generally a mailing address is required when making a purchase by credit card. It's often used as part of the CC verification process. While I have no direct experience with Twistys, I've never received a piece of snail-mail from an adult site I've signed up for. Same here Khan. I have not received anything from Twistys, even email. They also did not rip me off in anyway. So dont be shy about joining up. They were actually the first site I ever joined and I did not regret it. I am actually planning on rejoining them soon again. Plus now they give access to a few other sites. Oh and yes, welcome to PU and we hope to hear more from you. Perhaps let us know how you Twistys experience goes for you. Come to think of it, I was a member of Twisty's a few years ago and never got any snail mail from them. I did get on a mailing list thru Playtime Productions, though... that kind of sucked, and it took me 3 or 4 emails to finally get them to stop. Have a good one. | |

Yeah, the address is for credit card verification purposes. I can't imagine a company sending actual "snail mail" porn spam to your mail box. Way to expensive for the margins these sites operate at and way too risky in terms of having uptight DA some where start pursuing them for violating obscenity laws. | |

Just in case that you might have forgotten your password it's a good idea to have a mail address for ;-). If you don't want to reveal anything to intimate you can always go for a second mail address with hotmail for instance. Welcome at PU b.t.w.! Maybe 10 years ago, I joined a porn site, not Twisty's, and did end up getting catalogs for porn and sex toys. I have no idea what shady ass site that was, but it's never happened once since. I don't think companies do that anymore. Mail order is dead. | |

Never had a problem with mailings. There too expensive to send plus I think a lot of sites are not interested in sending actual mail. Its strictly for CC processing. I rarely get email offers. Will | |
